Not watching because the 1st place prize? Why does that even matter? It's the final table of one the biggest tournaments, for one of the biggest tittles in poker, with life changing money for 1st place. True, the field size isn't as big as it once was, so the prize pool isn't as big but it's just as important and as exciting to watch.

What's the minimum 1st place prize has to be to interest you? Just curious.

LOL, After the IRS steals 54.6%(Taxes and Self-Employment) of the first place winner, he's only taking home $3,488,239 and 84 cents which is not a lot of money if you think about it.

They set a $10 million guarantee last year because it was the 45th anniversary of the wsop. The prize pool is dictated by how many people sign up, and they have charts they use to determine payouts.

Yes, it sure would be terrible to win that $6.8 million first prize and have to pay taxes on it. Wow, what a hardship. Might as well not even play if that is the case.

That was Justin Schwartz, and his sorry a** deserved it. I loved how he got all upset and started saying, 'This is Bulls***" like all the online players when they get a bad beat.
I agree this dude is the biggest douche bag I've ever seen. Plus he looks like the loonytoons witch.

This is where Sheldon Cooper turns to Penny and says, "Sarcasm?" :D

Cheers!

I was laughing when he was whining about it being so hard playing at the feature table (when he called the clock on Butteroni because he was scared his bluff would get called)......if it's so damn hard then just get up and leave, I'm sure there's a meth pipe calling your name from your hotel room.

I guess ESPN has to find the biggest douche nozzle in the room to put at the feature table every year, last time it was Curtis Rystat (sp?).

Nice little double up there. Stern has been bleeding chips all night.

Liking the way McKeehen has started to get aggressive - short stacks way too passive

Really really impressed by some folds and by McKeehen. Having a HUGE stack helps but he has been almost perfect.

Beckley's JJ fold was outstanding, not the spot to flip or worse. Not sure in that spot I can just lay them down but then again very few flops he can feel comfortable on

At $7.7 million first prize, I'm not watching, I won't be surprise if first place money is reduced to $6.6 million for the following year.

the first prize was reduced in order to pay 1000 entrants instead of 600+ entrants they paid last year, and still 7 millions is still huge money for a torunament,

i have watched in espn some action of the final table and i think it`s been few action, no any single interesting bluff postflop, actually postflop they`ve been very passive, including the time when one of them flopped set and at the turn got the full and check, river check!!!

preflop the action also has been really poor, Mckeehen was open raise almost any single hand and only 2 or 3 times he was reraised, even a opponent holding pocket 8 only call, flop check -call, check-call, check, i remember Jacobsen and very particularly Riese, they play the hands showing a lot of aggresion, maybe the reason is the first prize was reduced from 10 to 7 millions,

the most interesting thing was Beckey folding JJ preflop in a 4-handed table after a 4-bet, really great reading,

very bad luck for steinberg, he folded AJ against A4 and later he lost when his AJ faced AQ,

btw, curiosly 3 guys has been eliminated with AJ against AK or AQ,

well tomorrow the final three will be all Mckeehen who has around 2 thirds of the chips, let`s see!

Joe McKeehen look unstopable right now with sizeable lead of 128.8 million chips followed in second by Neil Blumenfield 40.1 million and Josh Beckley in third with 23.7 million.

I would like to at least see the other two make McKeehen work for the bracelet and sweat a little, at the rate they're going this is liable to wrap up in the first hour or two.

Is tax based on country of Residence for WSOP events or do you get taxed there and taxed even more when you get home :(

Be careful when using links like these. Obviously they are not legal and the sites are putting the feeds up to make money off ads, which are most likely spyware/malware.

Never install software from unknown sources.

It would help if McKeehen didn't hit so many flops. Along with making great decisions, the guy is running really hot. Plus, he's going Oliver Hardy with his eyebrows . . . pretty hard to beat that!

Cheers!
