Most of us know there was a 'slight' change in the 2020 WSOP events this year, due to the Covid-19 restrictions. Recently, the WSOP had announced the Main Event will now take place in December, with modifications. So, Stoyan Madanzhiev had won the $5,000 WSOP Main Event and a letter to prove it.

If the Main Event was won in the summer, does the upcoming WSOP Main Event winner mean, Stoyan is not the WSOP Champ?

I don't know because of increases in covid cases there might not be a wsop main event like how we are used to seeing it. They might have to re do it.
