Who will be considered the REAL 2020 WSOP Main Event Champ?

Most of us know there was a 'slight' change in the 2020 wsop events this year, due to the Covid-19 restrictions. Recently, the WSOP had announced the Main Event will now take place in December, with modifications. So, Stoyan Madanzhiev had won the $5,000 WSOP Main Event and a letter to prove it.

If the Main Event was won in the summer, does the upcoming WSOP Main Event winner mean, Stoyan is not the WSOP Champ?

Should Stoyan Madanzhiev Be Recognized as the 2020 Poker World Champion?

I don't know because of increases in covid cases there might not be a wsop main event like how we are used to seeing it. They might have to re do it.
