Runner Runner Trailer - Poker Movie starring Ben Affleck and Justin Timberlake

I just watched that trailer and OMG it looks great. Def not as much about poker as rounders, but it will be just as good if not better as a movie.

PS. I really like the touch of deadmau5 in the trailer. sweet song

This is a film that seems to be very interesting, apart has two actors who play excellent!
I hope to me sometime time to view the trailer looks spectacular!

The best part of the film is the trailer and in my opinion it is one of the worst films about poker ever.

that is true. One of the baddest performances of Ben Affleck. For example if you compare it to "The Town".

But the story is also bad and short.

If you want to watch a good movie about poker/blackjack/Casino I can recommend two:


Rounders with Matt Damon and Edward Norton

21 with Kevin Spacey

I refuse to watch the trailer lol... this way even if the trailer (and or movie) suck will still be excited to watch it and not dreading it as a chore.

Movie is really cool and it actually makes you think...I loved the movie, especially Justin's character, really didn't know that he is a very good acter...than i saw his crazy videos with Lonely Island lol

Ben & Justin are not bad actors you may even say good ones.

But in this movie they are not.


I like both. Affleck because he has become a good filmmaker (The town, Argo) and Timberlake because he is a multi talent (actor, singer, etc.)

I often heard of one poker movie but this filme I have never seen:
Cincinnati Kid with Steve Mcqueen

21 and rounders are both definitely better as others have said. 21 is a blackjack movie though, but rounders is poker. "the size of your stack is almost as important as the quality of your cards"

Runner Runner was not that great of a movie, it has nothing on Rounders.

There are a lot of mixed reviews. I do agree that the story line was a little choppy and not the best poker movie ever put out, but I enjoyed it none the less. I wish there was more poker involved, instead of the opening scene. Not every poker movie will be awesome.
