My take on what I've read here and on 2+2, it's the sites that are making more money by keeping sharks away from the fish's.
For example: 5 fish load up $100 each for a good recreational night to play poker rather than go to the casino, if these 5 guys sit at the same table, each rake-able hand that is played the site makes money. So after 4-5 hours of drinking beer playing poker and the money is passed around to each player, I would almost guarantee that the $500 that started at the table has dropped down to $400 with the site getting the $100 from rake (maybe not that much, but this just an example). Now start this same session with a shark in the mix and the fish wouldn't have lasted 4-5 hours and the site wouldn't have made that much rake. Add a a couple of sharks and the fish wouldn't bother loading next week.
Just my .02 worth... I don't play ring nor would I even play at those levels, but I still think the sites are gonna kick their own ass when it comes around and bites them as it should.
