PokerStars is planning to launch another variation on a popular poker variant. Are you interested in trying it?

PokerStars Ups the Entertainment Ante with Split Omaha Rumors

I know that Omaha is the second type of Hold'em that is most popular, having been recognized due to its special dynamics and aggressiveness, due to the greater likelihood of the nuts combination and the size of the pot. But for me as a newbie, startin with no-limit hold'em, there are even more questions here. Therefore i will come to him, but later.:)

I do not like their new games. Neither Power Up nor 6+ Hold'em interested me.

Hopefully, the new format of the game will be really interesting.

I do not like variations of poker, I only play the original Texas Holdem tournaments and cash, with respect to Spin & Go it seems to me like playing the lottery, I do not play it.

They already have a lot of variations. I would like to see them work on improving what they currently have. Like stop increasing the rake for their tables :(

Two Board Omaha.. Sounds interesting :)

I'd prefer regular myself but at least they're offering people that option. I've tried Double Board NLHE, the novelty of the Double Board is cool and shakes things up but wears off pretty quick.

Thumbs up to them for offering something that nobody else is though :)

Was watching what I believe to the format you all are talking about on OP poker stream. The variant looks fun . melding of PLO and no limit holdem. You guys should really be more open to mixed games. Thats where I always find weaker players.

No Limit Hold’em is in a strange place right now. For the recreational player it’s become somewhat dry and predictable and the -EV has become more and more undeniable. It used to be that the average player had a shot at leaving a winner from time to time. When you lose and it’s obvious it’s because you were outclassed, it is simply just not as much fun.

Things like 6+ seem to be trying to recapture a bit more of what made NLH so good: action. Not to mention it’s a “new” game that everyone is developing strategies for at the same time. With NLH, the skill difference between the recreational player and the regular player has become vast and that can drive the recreational players away, or prevent their return. With new variants everyone feels they have similar levels skills. In practice it comes down to is there a reasonable amount of variance and can an edge be developed. If not the game dies out like it did with the 2 board Hold’em experience pokerstars had. Other times it has some staying power, like 6+ is enjoying.

Another new game? Better to deal with what they currently have is enough, but what does PS do to make some money

Pokerstars is obviously trying to cater to an audience that is more impulsive and less interested about the game and more interested in a dopamine hit, which means more satisfaction for rec players and more cash for the intelligent regs.

Not sure how I feel about PS..

They are trying to put variations and other stuff... but why they can't fix just one important thing - RAKEBACK
of course... new variations, play-styles are good too... but rakeback, bonuses are so screwed now

Hi
No, I do not really like the split system, there is a small percentage to hit the jackpot, in the larger case there is a division. I think the Split is more suitable for careful people, the most it ) I liked poker Fusion, and now like Poker 6 + I think they should have left, I miss.

In the future, there will be a new format of the game with open cards, it is very interesting!

Diversity is good in any situation. I see nothing wrong with this. I am sure there are omaha enthusiasts who want to try this variation as well.
