Pokerstars May Be Returning to the US in Some States

I dont think we will ever have Pokerstars again.
The best we can hope for is a new company uses Pokerstars software.

If all the stars align and the online gambling bill passes in NJ and pokerstars does in fact purchase the Atlantic Club in atlantic city than i cant imagine any way that pokerstars doesnt get back in the US welllllll at least for NJ residents :icon_chee

The online gambling bill passed thru assembly yesterday in nj.. it will go to senate thursday and should pass than will be on the govenors desk by next week l!

That truly is an interesting read. We can only hope that is true. There is a plus also, with some sort of gaming commission having their eye on poker stars. The trust factor in the United States, and in the world will go up. Let's keep our fingers crossed!

I can't wait for poker stars to get back that was always one of my favorite sites. It's a shame the damn gov. Had to ban it in the first place

I think everyone doesnt know exactly how things will happen.. However, with pokerstars track record I think NJ will be the first one up and running. Also how agressive pokerstars is about expandng and also does it in the smart way.. I am guessing it wont be long for them to ask other states to join in with NJ . kind of how the multi state lotteries run. Though this is my guess and also my hope that ohio joins right with them.

Hello JamMastaJT I was wondering if you could tell me if PokerStars was going to be allowing all US states to play of just New Jersey people. I live in South Carolina which does not allow much in the way of online play. On most sites we are only allowed to play free rolls. I know there are some you can deposit money on but it seems kinda of shady from what I have heard. I would rather play online without the fear of going to jail or losing my money because I am breaking the law. Any info you could provide would be helpful.
