Congrats to NJ people!! I think PS is the best software to play despite the fact that there is not a global PS which includes every country. I´d like to play with US people for example. Is there any reason of that?

Residency is not a requirement to play on NJ sites, only your presence in the state.

Those east coast states are all clumped together, and players in a lot of states have but an hour drive to NJ to be able to play. If you're in Philly or NYC you only need to cross the bridge. Same with Delaware. Maryland is a little further drive, but you get the picture . . .

Is this true? I don't doubt you, I have just never heard of this. I haven't done my homework either. If so I am about 2 hours from NJ...which still not be worth it.

It is true . . . In an interview with Marco Valerio in 2013, David Rebuck of the NJ DGE said:

"I think one of the — I’ve heard this today and it confused me a little why people are thinking this, but some people are thinking that you have to be a resident of the state of New Jersey in order to engage in Internet gaming. That’s false. You can be a resident; and while you’re in the state of New Jersey if you’re a nonresident and in you’re in the state of New Jersey, whether you’re vacationing here or visiting here, or working here, you can engage in Internet gaming. You just have to be within the four borders of the state of New Jersey. You don’t have to be a resident."

I think that PS has done a very job at marketing itself right now in the US and New Jersey in particular since the announcement of its approval in NJ. There was so much hype and excitement from former players and even new players, but as far as I can tell, there has been little or no taking advantage of said hype. Now the hype has died down, thus having costed PS a great low-cost marketing opportunity.
