Unlikely. Go back and look at total online poker revenue during the height of the poker boom. If you assume an unlikely 50% tax rate, it still doesn't amount to tip money for the federal government or even the larger states.
Now, consider the pending investigation of DFS, which is taxed, and you'll see that tax revenue isn't an issue. As long as Pokerstars operates in a regulated state,
they'll have no problem . . . assuming that anti-
gambling types don't push through regressive legislation at the federal level.
