Yea - I can't vouch for the other woman - don't really know anything about her. But I would stand behind Jen any day, any time.

Now you'll have to get up early all week.

Might be slow to come out because one report I saw said it had to be announced by DOJ before the poker sites, and those cogs can be slow.

No help to USA players.....:(

We get our money back - plus they are not banned from operating here once if it is ever permitted here so your statement could not be further from the truth.

Oh - and I knew I could trust Jen!!! :)

Maybe not as quick as ROW players, but wouldnt those frozen assets have to be identified if the deal goes through as they will no longer be frozen?

This is good news, we will get our money back!!

Maybe after the elections in November we can see legal
online poker in the U.S.
(I doubt either Obama or Romney will advocate for it before November)

Now we just have to find out how to request our money from the DOJ.
Anyone want to bet that taxes will be taken out of your bankroll BEFORE it get to you?

I have a screenshot of my FTP Cashier window from Black Friday.
That might help speed things up.......but then again, it is the government.

I just noticed this part of the DOJ Press Release

"pokerstars is also prohibited from employing, or otherwise hiring, full tilt poker insiders
Raymond Bitar, Howard Lederer, Rafael Furst, Chris Ferguson, and Nelson Burtnick.
Bitar and Burtnick are also named as defendants in a related criminal Indictment.
Bitar, Lederer, Furst, and Ferguson are named as civil money-laundering defendants in this complaint.”

I wonder if this will mean we see Lederer and Ferguson back on the poker tables?

Umm, nevermind,.. 'old news' :( lol 'Someone' already started a new thread. I thought the 'Pokerstars buys Fulltilt' would be appropriate for my post... I was so excited I didn't scroll through all the threads in 'the news'. Prolly shoulda looked for a 'PokerStars REALLY buys Fulltilt' instead ;)

I've already paid my taxes on every dollar in my FTP BR. Should be no further deductions.

Wouldnt be shocked if DOJ tells ya to prove it first, would you? Think you know what Iam saying here. Still looks like a wait might be on our hands, but not much can be done at this point. Some silver lining though.

Also, will FTP allow US players to log in to see the exact amount they had?

Just because it is in your account does not mean it is winnings.

They would have to provide us with access to our deposit and transfer histories if they go there so should be easy to prove for anyone who needs to. I know I could.

I doubt seriously taxes will even come into play but if so the only people who should be concerned are those who had large profits and did not pay taxes.

Paying taxes on money I never expected to see is not going to trouble me too much! It'll be interesting to see how they set this up.
