If you could add $1000 a month to CardsChat events at PokerStars, what would you do ?

I would add the money to a monthly tournament series on pokerstars exclusive for our Platinum members.

It could be 4 tournaments with a prize pool of $200 and then the winner from the leaderboard gets an additional $200 paid into their account. Or top 3 from the leaderboard share the $200.

During the monthly freeroll for Cardschat members. Taking the $1,000 and have a random number generator pick 50 tables. And then have another RNG pick a seat from 1-9 and that player wins $20.00 if only puts seats from 1-9 if a player is sitting at the table.

It would be a great way for players who might miss the money walk away with something and feel happy about playing. Which in turn they would possibly go play other games on PokerStars.

And these games need to be carried out in "Home Games" to create a separate club. I would break the leaderboard into a few more levels (like 3)! the first level is played by beginners and weak players! when you reach a certain number of points in a month, they go to the second level! at the second level, average players and more prize money! again, you need to collect points to go to level 3! and for 3 of the biggest prize money and experienced players!! you can make more than 3 levels (5-7), and if there is a lack of points, the player goes down a level lower or gets a trial period at the same level)))

Make freerolls available to people from poor countries like Ukraine, Moldova, etc. I am from Ukraine, and salaries in my country do not allow me to play poker for money, so it is very important for me to play freerolls, so that I can play for real money. I’ve said this a time or two before but I think it would be awesome to have a Cardschat PKO tournament. I think it’s a really fun and competitive tournament structure and it can add to some of the already existing rivalries!! A monthly $1000 would be cool, however I think it would be awesome if we could have them weekly so either a $200 or $250 on one of the weekend afternoons would be awesome!!

My idea won't be very original at the beginning: one 1000$ freeroll for qualified members. But I have some ideas about qualifying there (couldnt read all posts maybe someone had already posted similar). Of course I believe that it should be only for platinum level members - imo the most sensible option, rewarding the most contributing forum members and motivating those who do not have platinum status yet.
And my idea is making it more interesting than simply entering the password in the appropriate topic. For example, the password can be the word hidden in one of the moderators posts. Or something like rebus but with increased difficulty This way, only the really committed members will get into this freeroll. With such a solution, the number of players should be smaller, lets suppose about 100 people. If so, I think the freeroll should reward everyone who participates in it. Not all equal, of course, but for example from $1-2 mincash to $100-150 for a win (depending on how many people there really will be participating)

What I would do with 1k to spend ? Well, first of all should be mentioned that there are already many good suggestions, worth thinking about, in this thread.
But even if i can not swim, I'm an aquarius and therefore it's nothing less than a pleasure to me, giving you some kind of different input...

- Nothing compares to the real stuff ! I would spend a few bucks to initiate a small but exclusive series of CC & PokerStars poker goodies like t-shirts, caps, etc. that only can be won in a leaderboard-series open to all cc's with a membership of min. 1 year for example.

- There is a difference in talking about good things or doing good. A few bucks to create a unique sponsorship. What about bringing one time during the season a handicapped person or a team with a ticket to a live poker- tournament to take part in ?

Easy is the path to wisdom, even for those, not blinded by ego ! Best wishes !

Answering your question without hesitation, you can add 250$ to weekly $300 freerolls (4x$250). That means we will have 500$ weekly freeroll. That's good! Does someone else has this? This is the easy way to contribute additional 1K to the members. You have already a plenty of different events, games in many poker rooms, keeping track on them it is a huge job which you are performing; it will easy for you to increase guarantees of these tournaments. As an option, you can increase your budget of Cardschat Stacking Fund (either more stacks or amount allowed, up to your experience with this) as well as create buy-in freerolls.
