So no ring fence with the Swiss site? Cool!

If this is the case -the article says Swiss registered can play globally- a few other European nations will surely feel a little miffed.

That's nice to read. Maybe I'll stay in quarentene there, so it will be good to have poker to spend some time.

This is indeed good news, and it also comes at a good time, since volume on the international pokerstars site could certainly use some help right now in these post COVID-19 lockdown times :)

As an update, there's already a date to start playing in Switzerland: 6th July.
Saw somewhere that was scheduled for today, but will have to wait some more days.

An interesting move by Pokerstars, since Switzerland seems to me to be a strategic country in business.

Swiss players typically got the 'brown' label from me (at least in the micro/low stakes).

Welcome new players from other countries! It will be fun, and it makes no difference anyone to knock out of tournaments)))

This is good opportunity for all German players to move to Switzerland :)

Why not move to Luxembourg (or Liechtenstein) instead. These 2 countries should still be able to play there (although i probably havent seen neither country represented in cc games) :hmmmm2:

Although i do seem to remember that some time ago spotted some (very high stakes) cash table there which had one player from luxembourg who had 4000.- something (ready to be wasted ?!?) lol ...

This is good news ! ) I hope that in the future such countries as Sweden,Holland,Norway and other countries will be replenished)

Holland? Norway? These 2 should have any restrictions right now (atleast on pokerstars) or i am missing something :dontknow:

More players and less restrictions to the players' pools and pokerrooms worldwide is always good news ,. hopefully more and more counties will once again offer poker or reduce their prohibitions and allow more and more poker rooms to offer their services to the poker players in ther country .

Yeeeee, finally some good news after all this years of darkness! :)

All countries should follow this example, at least the civilized ones!

New update: PokerStars.ch is live in Switzerland! After the login, there's a process of migration from ps.com to ps.ch.
I'm stuck for now, because I have 50 cents (lol) on account that I can't use, or withdraw. I contacted the support, as the migration must be made with 0$ on account.
Let's see what they do.

After achieving the migration, and logging in, I saw that for now, it's a big disappointment so far:

-no Home Games

-usual freerolls like CC disappeared, not possible to play them now,

-very poor choices of tournaments

If PS wants to keep its quality here, will have to improve a loooooot.
