The stories sure do make card protectors sound like they would be very important in live games.

I played only one poker club in Kyiv in 2013. The law has already banned these institutions. There is a casino for foreigners in the hotel. To be fair, the dealers there were very professional. I think it's like that everywhere. It's their job and every dealer must take courses and have a certificate or diploma of a specialist. But the fact that they can distribute with rigging is a fact. My colleague said that he was a dealer and had such experience in the past. Therefore, as for me, it is better to play online. It also makes the game more mobile.

If there is a dealer's poker error, a dispute can spawn a 50-page thread on a poker forum. Millions of hands are dealt at the wsop each year. When you sum up not only what happens in gold bracelet tournaments, but also all the satellites, cash games that are played around the clock. Of course, someone makes blunders at the dealers. Out of a thousand, some are even incompetent and should be fired. But don't let the mistakes of a few tarnish the hundreds of great dealers that this business needs.

I don't know if I wasn't paying attention to it, but I didn't even know that there are also mishaps in bigger tournaments. So far, online play is enough for me, I haven't had the opportunity to play live yet, apart from playing with friends. Only those who do nothing are not mistaken. Good to know for the future that you have to pay attention to this.

Yes I got into such a situation that the dealer made a mistake, because the 7.2o was beaten by an A, A and it can only be the dealer's fault ...😜

I don't understand why it's not official and binding when the dealer announces how much the bet is when asked to (even when it's miscounted)

When the dealer says 17 and Dario calls and loses the hand, he should've lost 17, not 22.

Everyone should be kind to one another; as for dealer mistakes, I always figure these things will balance out long-term. The dealers will make mistakes to everyone equally long-term (the errors are not personal), so all we can do as players is try to minimize this as much as possible for ourselves.

That hand of AAs of that french lady was sad , the ruling of the manager on that occassion must have been different , it was obvious she didn;t want her hand to go to the muck , she had AAs , very strange ruling . Mistakes do happen , but the managers must show more understanding in my opinion , especially in such occassions when the dealer made a mistake .
