I'm sitting here thinking (yeah -- no comments from the peanut gallery)...

Ivey must be just kicking himself with all the bracelet prop bets he has on the table. Helmuth has now won two in one year... that's got to be a thorn in Ivey's side.

He is one of my fav players. Him and Daniel negranu. Phil def has something amazing going on for him, 13 wins. Doesn't seem like a big number. But when you put it into retrospect, it is quite amazing. Keep it up Phil!

I love when he cries. He lets out his tilt anger instead of bottles it up and plays bad, he does not allow it to fester, so when I lose to a stupid player I tell also now :) makes me feel better and I move on faster haha.

I've never been a big Hellmuth fan, but you can't deny his skill. This could solidify his "Best Poker Tournament Player" title.

I hated Helmuth.
I played my first tournament (live) and was eliminated on hand 5.
My wife bought me a Phil Hellmuth book and I only read it because she got it for me.
I thought Phil's advice was ridiculous and used it in my next tournament to prove him wrong.
I got 3rd place in that tourney, for a nice profit.
I quit hating Phil Helmuth after that.
Kick ass, Phil. Kick ass!

You think Phil benefits by blowing up & berating others the way he does? You think it actually helps him get over it? I'd argue the contrary.
If it's working for him, why does he hire a coach to work on it? Why does he try to change?

Maybe I should rephrase that first question....
You think?

Nah he blows up and then moves on. He has closure.
Most players nag bitch moan and then play worse.
He grinds right through it. Remember poker players
Are horrible actors. But he acts the best :)

He is one of the top poker players in the game. I still do not like how he carrys himself at the tables, he seems really rude.

Amazing that he can play so well, with all the crap going on in his head. It must be a mess in there, from how he acts sometimes.
