Well, they just regretted him for it, he could have been punished more seriously if he hadn't been a streamer, or if he hadn't been sponsored by pokerstars themselves, then I think he would have been punished even more seriously, but he got away with a light punishment. I hope it will be a lesson for other poker players

Looks like they haven’t paid back all the funds as it said they won about $60k in total and are only paying back 30k so don’t get that.

Haven’t played there in a while and don’t think I will be doing so in the future.

He is a poster boy for Pokerstars, that's why they took it easy, I believe that if it had been me for example they would have banned him forever.

The truth is that sometimes it happens to me in some hands, in some bluffs particularly that I don't understand the calls. Very similar to those of a Superuser. But hey, I imagine they shouldn't be on micro or low. ha ha ha. But it is very serious that this happens. Trust in the site is lost.

I am surprised you don’t feel that the games other than cash and tournaments are encouraging more reckless play, just the insurance on spins alone and the games like all on or fold and flip and go give prime examples and don’t really encourage responsible gambling. The whole set up is very clever for the Devs. The music, visuals, bounty jackpots. All encouraging the ‘all in’ from any position with any hand never mind the pot odds mentality, which isn’t aggressive poker, it’s bingo, or snap.


I'm not sure why you're surprised?

When I go on any site, I check out the lobby and then I set up the filters so that I can more easily see what is available to me
ie. I put it on Tournaments, then I click off which types I'm interested in, then I click off the buyin level (currently $5 to $33).
I then adjust my settings on my table, making the cardbacks highly visible (usually bright red) & make them in high contrast with the table felt & background (usually mid-grey if possible on most sites with some variation ... ie. bounty tournaments I might keep in dark purple felt, the rest in grey).

For cash games I mostly play Z00M format. I click on this, I see the Z00M format games (Rush & Cash on GG). GG has at least 5x the amount of players in this format vs. other sites. But I play them on partypoker, SportsBetting, ACR, Stars, 888 & even a bit on Titan.

I do the same set up for every site. Yes GG has a bunch of 'extra fluff' on there (squeezing cards, riffling chipstacks, etc.) but I go to settings & eliminate all the stuff I am not interested in seeing & after doing so, the software/site runs smoother than any other site today. (it's smoother than Stars)

ALSO, the player pool is weaker there and YES it is more 'gambly' (LOTS of Asians on the site vs. other sites... many of them play poorly (maniacs & calling stations). I love to see them. And of course you will lose to them at times... that's poker. Trust me here, it's a REALLY GOOD thing to have them on the tables.

Hello. And why don't you allow such a possibility? Is there any logic in this: on micro, it's harder to recognize you, fewer people will listen to you regarding relocations, etc. I'm not saying that this is the case at all. Of course, at a higher level, there are more opportunities to earn more, but exposure becomes more possible. All these conversations remind me of conspiracy theories, especially in cases of revealing such users.
