If interested, I’d appreciate members taking a minute and digesting these hands taken from Poker News coverage of a recent GG $2,000/$4000 High Stakes game.

The reason I ask, is from my lowly perspective, it looks like the hands were butchered. To the tune of $4,126,246. Yikes.

For example. The first hand shown is BIEDEMEIR ( K 3 spades) against O Kanstantin (K 10 clubs). They go all-in pre-flop for a pot of $587,581.

I understand there is a history between most of these guys and such a snap shot does not reveal much (there is an hour plus clip of the stream attached in the article). But it looks like they are setting money of fire.

Just me? Was BIEDEMEIR a gigantic fish driving it all?

Dont know anything about these players, but I think, its pretty common knowledge, that high stakes online cash games only run, when a "VIP" is playing. The funny part about this is, that "bum hunting" is actually against the TOS of GG Poker. But apparently there are different rules for these high stakes players, or at least for those who are sponsored by GG Poker. As for the KT vs. K3 hand its not quite as crazy, as it sound, since there was a massive straddle on, so the effective stack was only around 18BB. But even so K3s is probably still a fold, when someone open jam.

Mikita Badziakouski and Victor Malinowski are very well known (Malinowski playing Fedor Holz in short heads up duel last year), Marius Gierse quite well established and Barak Wisbrod hardly at all. The other guys little info. Malinowski though winning millions likes to drink wine heavily whenever on a stream...in fact my guess is anytime playing.

Just struck me as odd, almost staged, but maybe that's the cynic in me.

That said, not too long ago J Nandez put together the highest pots played in GG , PLO cash games and I can't say I was impressed there either.

It's a bit like watching the Kings Casino uploads with Leon Tsoukernik and pals spewing hundreds of thousands into pots with abandon.

I really miss the HS action on pokerstars. It was fun to rail some of the games and watch them live. I'm not even sure how to rail the games these days.
