Well, very interestingly, Day 1C seems to have had more entries than either weekend day, which is a surprise. I can only assume it is more down to acquiring more dealers, as there were huge wait lists for alternates and re entries by all accounts on Saturday and Sunday.
Woo Hoo!!!! Way to go!!!
Good luck with Day 2!
Thanks so much. I only have 9 BBs, which will be an issue of course. But so far there will be around 25 players in a similar or worse spot than me too. From general chatting to other players, the general expectation was that min cash will be close, maybe 1-2 levels. So I will likely be tightening up early to see if loads of players are going out, but also looking for a spot or 2 early to either get a shove through or ideally double up.
Its gonna be crazy, in a good way. The money would be a bonus, but it more just the experience of cashing a major event. Plus the possibility of getting added to Hendon Mob. I don't know if this will be the case or not but I assume so.
I'm aware these factors shouldn't technically affect decisions, but I'm a realist, so I know they will. If are not prepared to acknowledge them, then I think you can also disadvantage yourself. As you can't improve without understanding why you played in a certain way. Plus I basically freerolled in so any cash is pure profit.....and therefore a big win for an online microstakes BR!
I actually think this will help me focus. I won't be passing up great cards in a good spot, but will be trying to avoid taking any even vaguely unnecessary risks, which I can be prone too at times when I get short.
