I immediately entered the first game with 5 tickets and in the first hand hit 4X magnification on straihgt flush. I went through the all in phase, but I soon lost in the coin flip hand with 9 9 against K T and finished in 33rd place, with $ 8.05 won.

Just stop it. I'm not even kidding a little bit. This gets old and tiring. Talk about beating a dead horse.
I think most people have recommended doing the max. It seems like this is maybe a bit like playing the slots.
Put in your max bet for max effect when you win? I'm just waiting to get confirmation that tickets were credited, and whether I need to pull from my alternates. If any of you that won from January 21 got your tickets, let me know! Once that is confirmed, I will draw today's winners.
And thank you everyone for posting your games in here. It's nice to see some winners. Seems like this format is a lot of gamble gamble though, so it's good you get to try it out for fun, rather than with your own hard earned money.

used my tickets 5x5 only won the last flip but the guy hit a flush with his holding cards.. and then he won 2 flips in a row while he was behind

Many thanks for the tickets to CardsChat. I had absolutely no luck with my tickets, though. I don't think I even hit a pair once or had any kind of chance of advancing from the first stage. But it was fun to try out, so thank you again!

An effort in futility, strange way to play a tourney, I played every ticket one at a time until the last 2 tickets, and I almost made it to the money 6 times, but unless you have the bigger stack the odds are against you to win in a show down format. At least you get to see what the cards are before you play, that was how I was able to make it anywhere.
I will not play that format. However, I did get a bad beat in the spin for gold game and I am waiting for that to play out in the GG Care tourney, will let you know how that goes, not holding my breath but maybe luck happens.
