Everyone should have a right to play poker in the comfort of their home. The problem i believe is the money not staying in the us. Why does the us not make a great site keep the money here and let everyone enjoy honest poker games for all while making America even greater.

I'll take a look at the letters and see if i agree. I think at the moment there is too much cheating, ect online and it's just not the best way to play poker. If it was going to be regulated inside the country and the companies were going to be run inside the country then I would be all for it. For the most part though, online is not the same as live and live is much safer and winnable, for me at least.

we have 4 states with legal online poker, well regulated and safe.
it's not about if you play online poker, it's about having the right to play in a free country.

I can agree with you there. We should be able to play, if we want. But the government has a responsibility to ensure our financial safety and fairness among the masses in this country of ours. I can't say they do a great job of this as it stands today. If they're second guessing making it legal, then they must realize that they have little to no control over the companies offering the service from outside the country. If we made it legal to play on any site you want, you'd have to consider the chance that it would be just as huge of a disaster as it was before.

IDK but it seems like this is the time to be doing it with what’s going on. I’m waiting for the next daily action plan to start tweeting again.

Anyone wishing to check out what is happening with the Poker Players Alliance (PPA) can check out their Twitter account to see what is on the agenda.

https://twitter.com/ppapoker

This is a very nice thread which I noticed several years ago. I think we can build on what has already been done one way or another. I have only got through reading 5-6 pages so far but will keep reading it throughout the rest of this week. Hopefully, together we can come up with a new Action Plan and continue this fight. I joined the PPA back in 2012 but never understood what they were doing. Anyone have ideas on how to improve this process and who to direct messages to other than State Representatives?
