Most of the new poker stars policy and changes seem to limit the players opportunity to be successful. However, if we all continue to play, it doesn't really matter and they are more profitable. They have a real monopoly in most countries with the exception of the US

Exactly, people will always find reason to hate PS but they are helping you get a good BRM!

They should take out the money and pay you back via real bank transfer.

You deposit 30, buy in for 1.10, win 50 in tourney then you can withdraw 51.10.

Yeah I got verified after playing on Stars for a couple of years. I made normal transactions as you. Then suddenly they decided to verify me when I made something like a $100 withdrawal.

The thing I did not like is that they said that failure to provide the required documents within 30 days would freeze my account and I would get banned. They could just have asked earlier and not threaten me in the process.

I requested a withdrawal recently and I got a mail back from pokerstars. what is surprising is that they seem to have a new requirement now that you have to wager the entire amount of your deposit before it is eligible for a withdrawal. In other words the amount you can withdraw is related to the bet you make. So if you deposit 100 dollars for example and bet 20 and win, you can withdraw 20+20, 40 dollars. The 60 dollars you have needs to be wagered before it can be eligible to be withdrawn. In the meantime you can lose it all as well.

Previously you need to wait 48 hours after a deposit before you can request a withdrawal. They have been trying to fix their financial problems with first changing the VIP rules and then the rake thing and now this which is unfair to every player. You wouldn't get such b***** if you went to a real casino. What do you guys think?

its true that poker star is doing some kind of GIMICS, which is unfair, if a player wants to with draw his money he should be able to with drew it at any time,
AND I THINK ITS HIGH TIME FORUMS LIKE US SHOULD RISE THE ALARM AND MAKE THESE PEOPLE UNDERSTAND THAT ITS NOT FAIR. IF YOU GUYS AGREE WITH ME THEN LETS DO SOME THING TO STOP THESE PRACTICES.

Im not surprised by this, Pokerstars has "jump the shark" many times in the last few years, i use pinnacle as my main sportsbook and they have the same policy, if not a problem for me there.

If you make a $100 deposit in a bank you shure wouldnt want to have to make another $100 deposit just to get some money from the 1st deposit you made of $100 ???????????????????

Stars will only understand if you stop depositing money there. And you should also understand that it is hard (but not impossible) to gather poker players together to sign a petition or organize a boycott.
