12 days ago my eChecks availability was restored, and so I made a deposit of $100. But now, almost 2 weeks later, the money has not been taken from my account. Normally it doesn't take more than a few days. So it looks right now like the problem hasn't really been fixed. If it isn't, and I let my PS balance fall below $100, I may end up with a negative balance like so many others have had happen to them when PS took the deposit back. Until the deposit I made is withdrawn from my account, I don't want to risk a negative balance, so I remain in limbo ........

It is fairly easy for anyone to get money onto PS, with Bank Account or No Bank Account. Purchase of many types of Gift Cards, and acquisition of Netspend Card will allow you to freely trade funds for PS or other sites. There are several options where people are buying these cards/transfering money from others for the site funds. So even if you get a negative balance, you can get a P2P Transfer and for some options you dont have to leave the house.

Also, checked today, echecks not working AZ still

I reside in AZ and over the years have noticed trying to make withdraws with E-check on pokerstars that the option wasn't there and had to opt for a check and othertimes it was available. Never had a problem with FTP, found it be easier and quicker to get funds off the site.

I'm in Ohio and E-checks aren't working for me too. And my bank is a small, local credit union. They won't take mastercard anymore, either. I got a visa coming in a few days but I doubt that's going to work at this rate.

I've been away from online poker for a couple years and wanted to play some this weekend, but this must be some kind of divine intervention... :p

PS. I've always wondered why none of the sites use paypal.

PS. I've always wondered why none of the sites use Paypal.

The sites can not use Paypal in the US (some are able to use Paypal outside US) because the Govt put pressure on them to stop serving online gambling and they complied by blocking all online gambling trading at Paypal for anyone in US.

You do not need divine intervention to play poker this weekend. It is quite easy to deposit on PS. It is just the players have taken it upon themselves to get it done. Go to the store and buy a Greendot Reload Pac for the amount you want to deposit. It will be super easy to trade someone for Pokerstars funds. It is likely you could have funds within an hour after you get back home and hop on the computer.
