The question is..Do I want to trust these people with my bank info to get

I'm not sure it would be a good idea to talk to your bank about this, since it is illegal for them to process the transaction if they know it is from a gambling site.

Sorry to hear about your bad story. Yeah, PlayersOnly has never supported the players. When I read the reviews about the site (on their Sports Betting that is), it was a scam from the starts. I stayed away from them. After reading your story, I will never go to their site.

LONG TIME GONE

Big Brother (the outfit I work for) a month ago locked out bunches of web sites concerned with gambling, sex (esp wih small furry animals [CC?]) and anything else that might be fun. Suddenly yesterday they were unlocked!
(Maybe one of the high muckymucks couldnt get on his nakedlittleboys.com site??) Anyway I'm back (of course I only go here at lunch or breaks!)

....Update on Playersonly.

Finally got my money last month (at least most of it)
They wired me $750 (was owed $800 but thy charged $50 for the bank wire) but hey-I'm happy to get most of my money, after 5 months I had almost given it up as a lost cause!

That $50 fee is standard on the cake network for wires. At $2500 or more, it's 2%. Getting your money without any other extra fees or loops along the way makes you a lucky person when dealing with the cake network. I've had trouble with both cake poker and sportsbook in the past, with both delays (almost a years worth all in all) and fees (about $100 extra in fees).

fwiw, I had no problem with my latest wd because I have usemywallet and they approved it and it was in my umw acct within 72 hours of my cashout request.

This is really wierd coming from that network,
I had to send them tons of proof who I was but never had a problem getting the cash.
It took time for the check/checks to arrive here but they were always good.
I play on the cake network as my favorite and iut has always treated me right,

Sportsbook and PlayersOnly have the most problems with withdrawals.

Obviously, sites make it soo easy to deposit, but to withdraw, you have to go through a maze.

I hope you get your money, I think you did jump the gun a little early, but at the same time you were right no? Because much later and you still don't have your money.

They're not trying to scam YOU, they just have poor withdraw systems.

Yeah i dont actually think there going to be any quicker with your check if im honest... i learned this the hard way.
If you threaten the guy on the email or fone then they wont do anything and just leave you to call up again and again.

Yeah its there fault for the check bouncing but if you want your money in the next few months i would speak to them like its not there fault (even though it is)

So have all your problems withdrawing been cleared up. I joined players only when another poker forum I was on hosted a few freerolls there for a little while. I won a dollar or two in the freerolls and have since built my BR up to $190+.

Do what it takes to get an invitation to Quicktender (UseMyWallet). If you have to join more poker sites that use that ewallet and make deposits and give them some play, you ought to eventually get an invitation, if you hound them for it. They have to be reasonably certain you're not a fed. Once you have an account there, a cashout from Players Only should be a breeze, it was for me. Do a google search on usemywallet and see what others say they did to get an invitation, even playing a minimum amount at an online casino might be enough.

A big reason why I don't like to play on new sites. I am also a member with another forum that wanted it's members to play at this site. They stopped advertising this site and started doing another site.
I was also leary of playing at that one. It had the same look as players only.
I have only withdrew from poker stars. I have received 3 checks and all of them I had no problems at all.
I feel sorry for all your problems. I hope it gets fixed soon. If you are any thing like me. I would have celebrated with the funds. Getting bit in the but must have really hurt.

It seems that a lot of poker sites have very different rules regarding withdrawals. It is very easy to make a deposit and they take your money almost immediately, but withdrawing is a different story. I came to realize this when I closed accounts at sites which do not provide native downloadable versions on the MAC computer. I had problems with withdrawal amounts at Titan, and withdrawal methods at Carbon, Hollywood, and Party, although some were worse than others. I eventually solved all the problems by opening an account at Moneybookers and then closing out the accounts (even though I had to make a deposit via Moneybookers before closing them out).

M advice is to make sure you understand the rules and regulations regarding deposits and withdrawals for any site BEFORE opening an account, and try to develop a method of making deposits and withdrawals which is consistent for the sites where you want to play. I now only play at FullTilt and pokerstars with plans for Lock Poker, and as sites (Titan?) do provide a native version for the MAC, hopefully they will provide the same facilities.

Understanding the rules and regs doesn't really do any good. Some of the sites will just stall and stall and stall in giving you your money.

I am awaiting a $3500 cashout from Pokerari that was promised to be in my Pic Club wallet a week or so ago. There were connection issues between Pic Club and Pokerari resulting in error messages. They answered every email the same day I wrote. They kept apologizing for the problems. They kept saying the problem was now resolved. Finally it was resolved after a couple false starts and the transaction was successful. But not really. Because after the Pic Club message boasted of transaction success in big letters, the print below explained that Pokerari still had to approve it. They supposedly approved it a week ago. Now they won't respond to my email. After all these prompt responses, they finally just decided to keep my money, I guess. The whole thing was a scam maybe. Great big network-wide wsop promotion. Only 2 of us won anything at all, the first place winner was supposed to get a $4500 package and 2nd was me, all the remainder money for $3900 and now they just decide they're going to keep my money. The winner probably can't even play in her tournaments she won, unless they decided to pay her and not me for some reason.

But then again, the large sites have their issues also.

I know this is a Players Only thread, but I just had to vent my frustrations about other sites, too. Ironically, I'm one of the few players who has had almost instant successful cashouts from Players Only, that's cause I've got UseMyWallet and for some reason they honor UMW cashout requests.
