so i'm interested about the time it took to start seeing players with previously made notes... from the time you started making notes to the time seeing players with notes again regularly and having a chance to use those previously made notes.

i'm talking about MTT format.
post about your experience.
i've been making notes on players daily for a couple of weeks now... just wondering how long till it would start paying off the usfulness.
its not telling when you will see them again. i use notes for that table alone

Almost immediately. I play tournaments with a small field and often meet the same opponents. That's just important not to forget that a person can change his playing skills over time and your notes will create a lot of problems for you.

I completely agree. even if there is information on the opponent, additional attention is still needed. a person can improve their playing skills or play even worse than before.
I already had such mistakes when making decisions regarding such opponents.

I believe the first time I started taking notes on a player was at pokerstars in '08. I kept a tablet next to my mouse, lol.

On ACR i dont make notes on everyone, usually 5-10 per day but im starting to notice several every day. If you playing on Pokerstars or partypoker then it will probably take a while because of how many players there are but i wouldnt know because im from US

If you play the same stakes or tournament buy-ins you'll be playing with lots of the same players.

Depending on the site... yeah if you play tournaments on pokerstars with those big fields, yeah it might take a while.. Smaller sites like 888 Poker, or others, you'll see them in the same week for sure.

Study

This game is repetition so studying hands and player’s style only gonna help you but you can survive without them if you got good poker recall

From practice, in order to start seeing people on which notes have been taken it is necessary to play the same tournaments, then the probability is greater, and for the game process it is better

I usually put notes on players that I've met at least once. When I face them I read the notes beforehand and make my strategy, I add more information if necessary.

Other players have notes about me than I do about other players. I will not be surprised how the notes about me will be mainly: donkey or fish.

As such, I do not make notes, because I note the players with whom I often play at the same table
