Of course it depends on each person's type of play, but in general, which do you guys think is the most profitable format to invest? I personaly prefere Sit & Go, but theoretically you have more chance to win 3 to 1 then 45 to 1, is it not?

Most SNG formats have higher sustainable ROIs than Spins. Some of the better Spin players have ROIs around 5%.
Sorry mate, could not understand what yo mean by ROIs.

But in a 3 to 1 game like Spin n Go your chip stacks wont be larger than what u can get in a game with 45 other players

In my personal experience Sit n Gos are more profitable since you can win around +12 buy-ins of your original buy-in. But maybe they are more profitable and consistent to me because I enjoy more regular MTTs thought.

Return of investment

Thank you all for your imput! In the end, everyone can develop different types of play, some are better at a format, some prefere another.

 is that true? if so, spin & go have way more luck factor... bad investment

I get that.

There are two problems with spins. The first is a very fast structure (hyperturbo), where you typically only start with 25BB, and then the blinds also go up fast. This create few chances to find edge against opponents, before the game is over. The other problem is the "jackpot" multipliers, which you will likely never hit, even you grind a ton. Typically its something like 1,5% of the price pool, which goes into making someone else rich. This acts like an extra rake, which you must also overcome to show a profit.

For these two reasons combined traditional SnGs are better, if you are looking to build up a bankroll, or for a regular source of income. But with this being said, you can play more Spins per hour, since each game last a shorter time. So if you get really good at them, and can find a good rake-back deal, then maybe they can still be profitable. Regardless which format you pick, dont expect to get rich. There is just not enough mid and high stakes action these days, and the opponents are also to good.

spin and go.
But imagine you come to the casino and want to bet on roulette, on red or black, but they tell you that if you win, your money will be multiplied not by 2, but by 1.9. Does this seem strange to you? In Spin & Go, the situation is similar, when you start playing this game, you are already in the red, because the main problem is the multiplier, it will be less than 3 at a distance, which is natural, you need to win somewhere around 37-38% of games in order to balance at level 0, and this can be done if you are a great player on hyper turbo formats.

That's a good insight!
Spin and go always seems a little odd for me. Hyper speed it's just not for me.

I prefer sit'gos, because of the luck factor. I don't like to play spin' gos, because there are too much luck involved,

For me sit and go's are much more profitable than spin and go's, thats why I usually play sit and go's, easier and more profitable.

Especially on the low limits there are a lot of bad players. If you play disciplined, you will also make a profit in the long run.
What you can't influence is the multiplier, so you need a bit of luck.
A very good tilt resistance would also be recommended, as the actual and perceived suck outs are not insignificant due to the speed of the game.

SnG's are quite profitable...especially double or nothing.

I started out playing SnG's as they are a great way to build a bankroll. But they are laborious and I ended up playing cash for the hit.

If you are showing a profit from playing these poker bingo formats...good ..whatever works for you, and I wouldn't knock it.

Spin&Go from pokerstars. The largest room, the largest field. Thanks to Spin and Go, the number of dollar millionaires has increased significantly. The first "slum slum millionaire from spins" was microlimit freeroller from Russia sss66666 in January 2015. In thirteen and a half minutes, he turned five dollars into $1,000,000.Spin & Go has quickly become the most popular SNG format and continues to gain the attention of new players. Most of all, they are interested in the lottery aspect of tournaments - the opportunity to get a dizzying prize in just a few minutes of playing.

I don't play these poker formats at all. I play only cash games and tournaments on a regular basis. But if you choose from what you wrote, then Spin & Go will definitely be my choice. I can play several times from time to time. In the past, I remember catching the x100 multiplier 2 times

since the sit and go pays more, and if you are a decent player, i would say the sit and go, the spin and go, if you dont play for much, you have a lot of cowboys who go all in all the time
