I had an account with party poker but I quit. I heard they had some freeroll tournaments, but it turns out that their tourneys are only free if you have deposited money first. Not at all like pokerstars where you can play daily freerolls even though the prizes may not be that big. It is still fun to play and try to win a few pennies.

Party Poker made a huge comeback, I really like the software and the fields at micro stakes where I play are way smaller compared to Pokerstars. Me personally I haven't experienced any disconnections till now and hope I won't!

I can't play at partypoker's client but I play on a different skin and I know that there are daily centrolls. $0.01 buy in with ticket awards and with the biggest prizepool 2 $11 tickets for the top two players. And apparently smaller tickets for the rest who make it in the money such as $2.20,$1.10,$0.25 tickets.

It has also some weekly boosters but you have to collect 2 weekly points per week , in simple terms $20 buy ins in order to participate.That gives $100 up top.

It has the Jackpot freerolls approx 3 times a week if you are eligible to participate with $40 up top and some other centrolls like steps for some major tournaments.

If you are a resident of Greece as I am we can't play at Party Poker. We can play in two different skins of the software , Bwin and SportingBet.gr . Both of the above run the same tournaments as Party Poker. The biggest drawback of the two other skins is that they don't have the weekly CC's massive freeroll

I was thinking of opening a thread about the legal status of poker sites in Greece but I expected nobody would answer. So its Pokerstars, bwin and sportingbet. Do you know if we can play at 888? Or AmericasCardRoom? Do you play at any other site?

For past few days i played only on my phone since there were some problems with client playing via my laptop, so yes you can play all tournaments and its really nice app. Like the other guy mentioned something about greece im not sure how foes it work there but it works perfectly fine in uk and lithuania. Good luck

Yep. Greece has OPAP, a government backed sportsbetting and some other lucky games company. And are trying the best they can to keep it a monopoly.

If I want to read just a poker article from lets say wsop.com I cant, because the whole site is blocked.
Pokerstars must have surely paid a heavy bribe to enter the greek market.

So disconnects remain . That's just so annoying. Sitting for five minutes already staring at my Q9o on SB............
