I can not believe that in 2020, in the United States of America I can't play on the first, second, or even third largest poker site in the world! I know there are more pressing issues right now, but the situation with poker in America, should have never happen in the first place.

Yeah, I only recently started playing in freerolls, so I just found out about 2011 Black Friday; really annoying and highly political - especially how different states have different restrictions.

I was most active in 2007-2009 but black friday was still a shocker for me. I never would have guessed that mess would still be going on almost 10 years later.

The big brands do operate in two states legally - New Jersey and Pennsylvania.
The player pool are limited to those in those states.

For other states you will have to use the non-regulated sites like ACR, BOL & intertops.

I really hope that one day US legalize online poker again. It would be good for everyone because we would have more competition between poker rooms.

think some day poker online can back to the US
That would return not only to the USA but also to other countries. Tired of constantly looking for workarounds to install the poker client.

I always ask myself questions on this subject. Can players who are located in the United States and who use nordVPN play at any poker site without any restrictions?

Hello! I don't know much about the system of online sites, for me now CardsChat is not available in the usual mode, I use the Hola application to go to this site, can you do the same with poker rooms. Best regards, Sergey.

If you are going to play real money games you'll need to verify your account. That is why VPN doesn't help, and using one is probably against TOS anyways.

Can go to a casino for poker and there are choices to play online. Always liked playing on PS and FTP but have soured on online poker from Black Friday. Coming through that, I'm glad there are some decent choices to play online,

There always letters to your political pundits and elected officials to invoke change. Sorry still laughing at that last statement, yeah right.

I agree, I wish the USA would get it together and legalize it as well. I think if more states join regulated sites, then the better it will be.

It's not just USA.Many countries in Europe restrict players from playing at various online poker rooms. My country restricted some online poker rooms that I used to play at.But,then again,it all started with USA restrictions when USA government decided that poker is not legal and after that many countries in Europe did the same.
