I play 6max online and I am a regular at 5NL. When I was in 2NL I played based on my position against the villain since it’s the lowest limit you want to play as much as you can from position. If I were to be OOP I would cold call with 66, 77, 88, 99, TT and lean towards 4bet JJ+, AJs+, AQo+. If I were to be IP I would cold call almost my entire 3bet ranges here if I was against a loose player. Against tight/nits you want to play QQ+, AJs+, AK. The best advice I can give you is to not to cold call too often because you are losing value by not taking the initiative.

Thanks for your answer, but i was asking about cold calling ranges from BB, where you have better odds on call,so you should be cold calling much more than from other positions, even thought you will be without initiaitve and OOP postflop. Were you calling cold only with 66, 77, 88, 99, TT from BB when you were in 2NL ???

So I wouldn’t say I have an exact range of hands I like to cold call. You wouldn’t want to cold call the exact same range every time and with everyone cuz that just makes you exploitable. I usually deviate based on who the 3bettor is and if I have any fold equity against them. I do mostly cold call 66 to TT but sometimes I just fold them because against some players it’s best to fold it pre when OOP. And it’s micro stakes so cold calling is only appropriate when you are getting the right implied odds or else it’s just a fold unless you think you have an edge on your opponent and feel you can take them out post play.
