I don't think about such things because I don't plan to play poker professionally. Playing for fun is enough for me, and if the day comes and I win a tournament and a million or at least a hundred thousand, I will be very happy about it. So when you play online you're not risking 'real capital'?

My suggestion to you:
Start out at the smallest stakes and work your way up. It takes a lot of experience and a lot of work (studying, perseverance, a great work ethic, etc. etc.) to achieve consistent results... especially as you move up in buy-in limits.

The casino game is a lottery compared to the poker game, we should try as much as possible to play those games that require more brains, but the casino is totally out of competition in this regard

All my screen names at every site and poker related site are all completely different and only my wife and very good buddy know them. I've worked hard and solo to remain mostly an unknown winning player for 20+ years. Why would I want that to change? So I can brag about it? So people can think they can come up to me, bother, think I owe them something or/and they can try to scam and steal from me. No thanks. I couldn't careless about fame, being well known as a poker player or being able to brag about it. All brings too many negatives.....I'd rather just quietly just take their money and quietly be gone when I'm ready.

Casinos suck ! Literally. They are designed to de-money you. I personally cannot stand all the flashy lights and sounds of all the slots etc.
I know the poker rooms must be quieter, but I wouldn't want to spend hours and hours in that environment no way.

The best way is to be yourself, do what you know how to do, don't be lazy and don't waste your time. I think this is the best way to get well-deserved recognition, both in poker and in personal life

That's a good dream! You have to do everything you can to make it come true. I have a similar target in poker too. I agree that we need to win a major online poker tournament. Regarding casinos, I don't play slots for real money (only freespins are an exception).

I wouldn't want to go to a casino, as it is gambling and you lose money over the long run in most cases.

But poker has a big element of skill involved, so if you learn how to become a winning player, your earnings will be much more stable and generally increase with time.
