I have a poker bag for tourneys, it consists of lens wipes for glasses, card protectors, an Anker (or power bank) dude why look/hope for the usb port under the table for your phone, just bring a power bank!

Supplement holder for Ibuprofen/Vit B12 and others). I always feel 100% after two vit B12 supplements (usually takes 30-45 mins to work but always does!) if I ever feel sluggish.

I have two identical wallets (one for the bag, one for the hotel), the one for poker tourneys has all the casino cards and a separate passport ID card (if the casino cards don’t work, but they always do) The thought behind that is for if some reason I lose my bag/or is taken off me, my real wallet is at the hotel (in the safe) so I can get back on plane without an issue. Yes, I have trust issues lol

I also carry my GO-Pro in it, just to record moments I want.

In short it’s a bag designed for poker. Do you have such a specific poker bag?

Also prescription ray ban sunglasses for FT use, although haven’t used them yet :)

Thoughts on B12

You definitely come prepared. :) I'm impressed that you carry the power pack, and very impressed that you carry two passport cards in separate wallets. I think your doing that is due to being prepared, rather than any sort of trust issues. :)

I haven't played poker in a casino or live yet. Of all your things, I was most interested in the go pro camera. I would not take everything else so as not to bother myself with unnecessary things. You can also charge your smartphone at home before leaving for the casino. Also, I never had a wallet.

If I bust out at a tourney, I want to hop to another, having all the casino cards on hand rocks when on the go, if I lose them, no big deal, if I lose anything important, that is an issue (which is why it’s at the hotel safe), a wallet keeps those cards in one place, along with ‘designated cash’. My other cash is snug in a safe. A phone only holds so much charge, I prefer Anker but any power bank will do, sometimes a night out can last 3 phone charges easily. I just don’t like looking for solutions, just want them in a bag, again just preference.

I actually have a I-walk and a separate Anker brick, usually don’t dip too far into the Anker, the I-walk usually covers me for the most part.

I have a seat-backpack that I acquired many years ago that I use mostly for tournaments and when traveling away to casinos/Vegas. It folds open with a seat cushion and 2 side pockets. Inside I carry the following
Asprin
Antacid
Wipes
Plastic toothpic-floss
Cough drops
Granola bars
Card protector
Glasses case (have a prescription pair that has had the Blue Shark optics treatment)
Glasses cleaner
Power bank

When I sit down I can put my wallet & cell phone in a pocket

Pics are for the seat-backpack - I've replaced the seat cushion inside the seat part once since I've had it; very easy to do.

I get a lot of reaction from dealers saying they'd like to find such a backpack.

I'm not quite the international rounder yet, but yes, I do. I keep a freezer brick w/water and a sandwich, my scripts, glasses, shades, breath mints, phone charger, the dabber and torch, a pen and a Sharpie, some headphones, and a deck of awesome playing cards (Club Casino).

Asprin
Granola bars
beef jerky
I will bring in a small sub or something similar if say the tournament starts at 10AM and dinner bear is after 5PM. Would rather eat lunch at normal time.
Card protector
Power bank
iphone

Glasses case (have a prescription pair that has had the Blue Shark optics treatment)

Just wondering if you think they are worth it. Though about getting them but not sure it would be worth buying them.

While Im still not comfortable or confident enough to play live poker, I do find this thread interesting and I am totally impressed with how prepared you all seem to be :). Maybe I’ll do it one day :)

I feel a lot more comfortable at the table with them and I don't have to be all that conscious about where I'm looking when in a hand. My prescription hasn't changed in a few years so they're still good to use at the table. If I was expecting that to change they wouldn't be worth it.

I’ll be honest, my first live tournament was rough..mainly because I took all the psychological advice head on and applied it like I was a pro, I had some angry people gripe at me during the breaks (mainly because I picked up on status/vanity and put them all in many times just because I knew how important it was for them to not lose, especially to a novice) I didn’t really know what I was doing, but I cashed out. It did exhaust me, but then I went to another and another, and now it is quite enjoyable lol. I would say playing live poker tournaments for the first time is not easy, but nobody should make it as hard as I did on myself lol, just go in and take your time, before you know it, you are playing them like you would be doing anything else, and it’s always a great experience!:)

The other thing is the players and the dealers are super patient as they know it is your first time playing, you have a sense of “friends” with you, even tho they are competitive when it comes close to the bubble. If you tell people it is your first live game, people at the table will be more than happy to help!

I don't have a poker bag, I don't have glasses, I don't need them. All I need is my PC and a bit of silence :)

Thank you Mate. my reading levels have changed a bit more than yours and it probably won't be a good idea for me. Thanks for letting me know.

I have a sling bag because I want to look like a pro :ROFLMAO:
In all seriousness I would but a nicer one at some point the one I have is cheap, hopefully I will run it up enough for a designer one

The B vitamins are great I always try to take some before I play, or I get a Red Bull while playing.

That is great, I am constantly looking at sling bags on Amazon, the one I have now is great as I have a pocket/zipper designated for each and everything, although one day, I want to eventually get a classier/designer one lol

Such a practical person, everything is thought out to the smallest detail. Probably a former military man. Bravo:)

No, just my fathers genetics/whatever methods of being an inventor/organized (I suppose) , I am way more like my Mom, have a sense of humor and like to have fun and try not to take things seriously. I started playing poker mainly because I would watch the dogs while she traveled to play bingo at the casinos in Oklahoma just to play the game and have fun!:)....trust me on this, I am not smart, not military and broke AF. I do like organizing though, without excel spreadsheets, I would be a mess. Thanks for the compliment! I’m the same guy that will win a tourney and be broke the next week, always a work in progress :)

Yes, I also have a similar poker bag for tournaments. This is very convenient and allows you to have everything you need at hand, adding confidence when playing.
