I've played live tournaments a few times. Best I did was to get down to two tables, no cash.

I have played 6 times and all those 6 times I was in profit because other players was bad or I was too good when I was playing with them.I think that I am much more careful with my money and I play only on good hands when I play offline because other people see me so I want to leave good sing about my poker style so I play really like a professional.

Unfortunately, I have not played live poker in a casino yet. I enjoy playing with friends and to play online but I would like to play in a casino soon. But I like both playing live with friends and to online against strangers.

If given the choice I'd rather play live. I do play a lot of online poker, but I personally find that there are more solid players online. Of course there are exceptions, however Friday and Saturday nights at my local casino are full of casual poker players just looking for fun. It can be some easy money if you're at the right table.

live to online

Live is more profitable to me. Live is boring and exciting. Online is just exciting. I play at the dog tracks more than the casinos. I'm not as enthusiastic about online but It seems better suited for family life. Honestly I have some doubt about online. Time will tell.

Played a lot of live tournaments last couple of months and lost a lot of money on rebuys etc. Online is better for me and my bank account. I recommend online

I never played live and think that I would do it harder than it. Online, no one sees me and does not know my emotions.

I played live poker for money once and it was unbelievable and exciting. Before I played only online poker and for chips with friends. Before the game I worried, because I don’t know exactly the level of my game and wasn’t confident in it. But when it start… oh, adrenaline was in my blood. I was so concentrated that I was shocked, as before I didn’t have so good concentration yet. I make some bluffs both I won and one of them I showed, some guys appreciate it. After it I start feeling more confident. I can’t describe all my emotions, because words can’t explain them.
The last I can tell you that after this game my game improved and I become more confident in online poker.
Try it once and you can’t stop.

In my city there is no reallly much live poker tournaments so that is reason why I am not playing really often live poker that really sucks so I really wish that very soon as possible new live poker providers come to my city so I can play even live poker tournaments.

It would be cool to play live poker freerolls but something like that dont exist.

Rather play live, cash or tourney. I’ll give online another chance, however I know it’s more profitable for me live. I made deposits in the past so I supported the cause, I appreciate cardschat and their platinum club, for providing an environment that can allow players to get back in the online game.

Good aftenoon.I would like to but I´ve never played live. The only time I was in the poker room of the Atlantic City Casino in Lima was just as a poker fan in 2,013.It was during the former LAPT(Latin American Poker Tour by pokerstars).I was there for about 3 hours and during one of the breaks I had the opportunityto meet the former PokerStars Team Pro Humberto Brenes from Costa Rica, a very humble and friendly person..Well, I hope I can play there someday , at least, a cash game .I think , due to the pandemic , that poker room is not available to poker players yet.You can only play slots in that casino by now.

Sadly, I thought I was just a weekend away from playing my first live poker in a casino...that was just before the Covid-19 pandemic. I still have yet to play live poker in a casino :(

The bright side is that over the two years or so, I've been improving my poker game through cardschat  I plan on trying live poker in a casino in perhaps a month or so as the mask restrictions seem to be lifting in my area (although we aren't out of the pandemic quite yet).

As of now, my only poker "experience" is online games (almost entirely through cardschat in one way or another) and small "live" homegames with family...but that is about it.

I imagine I'd like live poker much better than online. Online loses the "people-element" of poker I think I'd better excel at (live reads, more psychology, the casino atmosphere etc.) However, live also has its disadvantages. I'm not a fan of hours of waiting to join a live game, paying higher rake and also live is much slower pace than online (translates into winning less bbs per hour)...and don't get me started on multi-tabling xD

With this aside, I feel like I'd enjoy live poker more, but I won't really know until I try it :)

There was no internet when I started playing poker but it wasn't until Moneymaker won the wsop that I started to play tournaments. It's been a few years now that I've played in a live event. I hope to get back to it soon.

I've played hours upon hours live. It's by far the superior game. Online poker is so much simpler its almost a different game. People claim the player pool online is tougher and it probably is to some games. I've played in games that make 1/2 online look like a fish fest. In live poker, people aren't using software to make up for their inadequacies at the table. It's mano a mano. The computer nerds get confused and just give me their chips in exasperation. You can actually get reads, or at least try to. Purists ALWAYS prefer live poker.

I've never played live, I would like to one day, but at the same time I'm afraid of making a fool of myself at the table, as I'm used to playing online, I wouldn't know, for example, how many chips are in the pot to make a bet. I think the dynamics of live is quite different from online, but who knows, maybe one day.

I very much prefer live poker over online. The main reason is when I win in a live game I can put the $ in my pocket. Online not so much. But I do love the convenience of online. Connecting and playing w/other players around the world is really cool. Hard to do that at the local cardroom.

I play live poker as it is much more fun than not online. The adrenaline we feel is completely different, the atmosphere and tension. But that only has one chance of dayfall and we lose all the cities that aren't committed there, it's just that online we can't just sign up for another one and move on.

I've never played live poker. I dream of playing. I think it will be very different.
