I know this forum is about poker related but I wanted to ask if this is a right place to ask where anyone would have knowledge on brand and type of deck of cards. I have bicycle deck of cards u can get at any liquor store for $2 or $3. But i want professional ones that casinos or other poker pros use. What brand and style would u recommend?

Order a set of Copag playing cards on Amazon. They are plastic so the players can bend them.

Ocean State Job Lot used to sell used casino decks. They'd have a small, probably around 3/16", drilled drilled through them so the couldn't be sneaked into the casino. If you have a store in your area that buys and sells closeouts you might give them a try for something like that.

There are so many good card brands. Any quality 100% plastic deck will be fine. You should feel a few brands and decide for yourself. Brands like Gemaco, Copag, Modiano, or the like are similarly priced and very high quality. Even Bicycle has a 100% plastic series. The only thing to make sure to avoid are dollar store plastic cards.

Walgreens used to have a frequent (twice a year?) BOGO sale on Bicycle plastic cards.

Like anything you buy, You get what you pay for, Bicycle do many different card packs from the cheap cardboard type to the high end plastic Cards, Copag is another brand that are good value but again they have their cheaper versions, Usually I will buy my Cards On-line but I spend anything up from £5 to £10 a Pack, anything below that and you get the cheap rubbish that are great for kids to play snap with, but no good for poker games.
My most expensive Pack was bought for me as a Christmas Present and they are Gold plated but I have never played with them, because the face of every card is Gold foil its hard to distinguish suits.

If I'm going to pay $15 or more for a deck of cards, it's going to be Kem. I have a deck of Red Arrows that's in it's 3rd generation. I like Kem because if something happens to one of cards like a crease or noticeable bend or even a printing defect you can send it back w/the ace of spades and receive a brand-new deck for free, guaranteed. Like I stated above I'm on my 3rd deck. :D
The best brand I've found for under $5 is one called Club Casino. I found them about 15 years ago in an Eckerd's; it's a Walgreen's now. The last place I found them was Amazon, but I can't find them there now, so I don't know. Anyway, they're the best plastic cards I've found for under $5, and they shuffle and deal like butter. Honest ;)
