What? This is a thread for LIVE poker. I'm slightly perturbed because I was looking for a decent response. I frequent the state on occasion and would like to know myself. Thank you.

Strange responses, IMO.
Do you play live? I've found the casino poker rooms in Blackhawk very friendly with a lot of diverse players. Different stakes games, and the rake seems reasonable. Ameristar and Monarch are the two I have played at. I think the new Bally's has a poker room as well. There are probably rooms in the Central City casinos, and if you are in the southern part of the state, try Cripple Creek.
Other than that, there are some bars that do "fun" games where you can win drinks or prizes. I don't think there are poker rooms as such due to the current gambling laws, but I may not be connected and don't know the secret knock. LOL
