Best I have done is won about $1,100 through freerolls in two weeks. Also i'v won $450 in one promo week in sat tickets. It can be done. Another member on here has won $2,500 in 3 days from $0.20. You got to run really well. I lost all my money back. 1 year of playing freerolls.

The $1,100 was done with paid MTTs as soon as possible as was the $2,500. No you can't get to this level in meaningful effort/time using freerolls only.Key word ONLY.

It's very difficult to become a champion of a great tournament from a freeroll tournament. With all the knowledge you possess, you need to have constant luck.

I truly wonder how many poker players have been able to build up a huge bankroll , just by playing freerolls online . Ive heard the stories on TV/ internet about how some pros were able to join and not put money in their account, and play freerolls online and turn it into a ton of money, but I have to seriously question the validity of these claims. We know that the tv and internet is full of alot of bullcrap and thats a good way for online poker rooms to build traffic, is to make players think they can build a big bankroll, just thru freerolls alone. These major internet poker sites, may even pay a pro/ big name poker play some side cash, if that poker player makes a false claim they have won big money thru freerolls alone. Lets face it, theres alot of scams/unsavory actions involved with internet poker anyways .

I personally am a winning live player , and yet I have never been able to win decent money on any poker site, just thru playing freerolls , nor have I ever met a poker player in person, who has done it.

Definitely playing only freerolls a lot of money does not win, or it will take many years!))

I made a small deposit and started playing regular buy-ins and cash games. My bankroll went up and down for a few weeks and then I discovered freerolls. I started mixing them in to the schedule and slowly I began building a bankroll that would allow me to have a certain amount of buy-ins every day. If you search out all the freerolls available every day you can find events that offer a decent prizepool that can help you build, but winning big money is unlikely.

the first win that amounted to any thing for me was a bounty ko on BOL.
like 16 dollars in and 1100ish out for first and bounties.
I learnt my lesson the way everyone does, being staked to play a bigger game doesn't always mean that youre prepared for the game at those limits.
And don't make a little money and then think you can play higher limits than you ever have and be equally successful.

I'm currently in a FR with a 1st place prize being a $215 ticket,$109 for 2nd and so on,,,,these sort of games can be really profitable.I try and stay away from the penny games,,,, $$$

I'll let you know. I'm sitting on a step 6 ticket for the venom on ACR. First place for the venom is about $200,000. The most I've had my account up to on free play is $138. I've got it up there a few times then go bust and do it all over again. Right now I have it up to $36. It sure beats playing with my lunch money.

Here at CC we have members who win hundreds of dollars in the CC freerolls.
Takes some time ofcourse but it could be a nice way to start a roll and with proper BRM people could slowly make that roll grow.

I believe that freerolls are a great way to build a bankroll and gain experience. I have been playing poker for about a year and now I realized that I should not spend money on the game. First of all, I just need to play freerolls, learn and improve my own skills.

If you are a good 100 meter runner and steadily progressed in speed, I doubt you would continue running in the small races. You would eventually move up to the World Championships or the Olympics.

To make life changing money, you may have started playing in freerolls, then you take the winnings from there and get off the baby bottle and start aiming for the 6 figure payouts.

It is a joke to even compare todays freerolls to the freerolls of pre black friday. You may be reading 10 year old news that a player made 10's of thousands of dollars in freerolls, because that was possible because that is the kind of money the online poker rooms were throwing around to build their business.
