My longest tournaments were around 7 hours. It's not that difficult if these hours are within your normal hours, but if those are the replacement of your sleep. Yup. The feelings are mixed.
I like to bulk up playing Turbo tournaments.
I like the gameplay, although I have a good performance in regular tournaments, but I don't like it very much because it takes about 8:00 to play.
I've played several mid buy-in tournaments over the past year where I just took the prizes after about six hours of play.
Next weekend I get to participate for the first time in the main event of the unibet Open (€1100 buy in), I hope I can participate in this tournament for at least 12 hours
I do notice that I lose concentration after about 4/5 hours, does anyone have any tips?
Coffee doesn't help anymore...
I have a lot of tournaments that I play more then 2 hours, because I prefer play Tourney instead of STNG, its not that I dont like sit and go , I play also, but once in a week or twice. But my most longer poker online Tourney is 4 hours and 45 minutes, micro millions. :icon_sant
most recent one is WCOOP deep stack, 15-12 min, I played for like 8 hours in a two days event, I qualified via a sat that lasted over 2 hours, so I was registered at late reg at level 5 I believe. if you combine sat + tour well it beyond the 10 hrs
if i remember correctly then my longest was around 10 hours it was unfortunately only a freerol and there were only tickets to be won. but at that time i just wanted to survive as many as possible and there were 40k people in the tournament and i won a ticket.
I think it was around 13 hours, day one of Colossus. I got there right on start time which I think was 10am and played through till we cashed around 1.30am. Was a very cool experience. And I was on the cards chat team. YAY!
