I agree this is a very good assessment and best reply.... If you are not willing to raise then better fold...

Thank-you for the support, but the answer I gave was based on the thought that the BB had 8k total. The math works out with that in mind. However that is NOT the case here. The bottom line here is that the BB is all-in with 4k total so the call is only 2k.

However, like C9 says...........

Hand 0: 67.697% { random }
Hand 1: 32.303% { 32o } (the worst possible hand you could have)

So if you're dealt 32o in the SB, you have a 32.3% (2:1) draw at the pot. You are being offered 3:1 by the pot. This is an edge, and not a small one that you pass up in a tournament.

When you're playing poker, often there's many different ways to play a hand. However, with this hand, there's not. You put your chips in.

So you can basically call with the same math on an all-in pre-flop raise. The only difference is that now it is a call or fold for all in or nothing situation, so you are truly looking at the math of 3 to 1 pot odds. Since the math works the same, you should call with any 2 cards.

Again...............

I am sorry for cluttering the thread with my misunderstanding.
