It's been 3days since I started to have a run everyday. I dont know my cards wont connect. Rivered now rivered later. Everything seems to be messed. Luckily I always manage to break even each day. Sigh... I wonder where's my poker god. Now I really agree we really need alot of luck to win...

this is incorrect, it's called variance dude!

You don't even know what running bad is yet. Believe me it can be MUCH worse that breaking even.

Also bought a $40 bonus with 2500 FPPs -- highest bankroll ever right now.

Dude just use those FPPs to satty into the 1/4 million. its super easy and you'll make more than 40 with 2500fpps

That's actually a pretty good bonus. How often do you win those 210 sats to the T$11? Friend of mine does those and says its ~1/3 cashes, 2500 fpp is almost exactly 12 buyins, that would be $44 on average...so might make a few more bucks after spending those extra hours on tournaments. Better to just take the money in my opinion.

I'm so out of practice at tournaments, plus I don't have the time to sit at one tournament that long. That's what I like about cash games, an hour here, an hour there, whenever I feel like it. I have a hard time with schedules, especially remembering when tournaments start. But I'll keep those sattys in mind if I ever go back.

Meh, those sattys are so soft though. I'd say you can realistically beat them like 50% of the time :).

I cashed in 9/16 last time. So...

[ ] large sample
[x] still ez game
[x] better than buying bonus if you have the time to play them

40% maybe?? I don't play them enough to know over a decent sample, but the 280fpp turbo 6 mans are easy. top 2 get $11, 3rd gets 280 fpp again.

Squeeze isnt really necessary on the HUD imo....if he has a 3-bet of 5-6% or higher in a squeeze situation you can draw the same conclusion as looking at the squeeze stat(which is its probably a squeeze a large percent of the time). Its just extra clutter on your HUD fo sho.

Something is leaking, but what?

Too small a sample to say there's a leak, could be straightforward variance. Look at your big and medium losing hands -

1. Did you get the money in good? Did you lose money in cooler/setup situations (i.e., lost a set over set, shoved KK into AA pf, etc.)?
2. Are you being appropriately aggressive or too passive (i.e., calling too much) in these hands?
3. Look at the 1347 hands in your positional stats - are you losing money in specific positions disproportionate to normal? Are you playing position effectively over these hands (vpip/pfr, WTSD, W$SD by position)?

cripes I got rivered so many times tonight my head is spinning.

22 vs AJ on 2AA flop, all in on turn, rivers a J.

QQ vs 97 on a Q62 flop, I bet flop big, he called, turns an 8, I bet he shoves I call, river Ten. I dunno wtf he was in the hand to start with, let alone the flop call.

-3BI tonight.

Just finished a small session at a FR 10c/20c LHE table on stars. I bought in for the standard $4 and cashed out with $9.38. If it wasn't for the fact that it's 1am and i'm shattered I'd still be sitting at that perfect table.

I haven't been playing LHE that long but my level of ability has increased significantly since I started reading Small Stakes Hold 'em by Sklansky. I have several poker books but I can honestly say this has been the best buy.

Anyway here's my stats for tonights session, they are just the stats that Stars record in the chat window options.

During current Hold'em session you were dealt 69 hands and saw flop:
- 7 out of 7 times while in big blind (100%)
- 2 out of 7 times while in small blind (28%)
- 7 out of 55 times in other positions (12%)
- a total of 16 out of 69 (23%)
Pots won at showdown - 5 of 9 (55%)
Pots won without showdown - 5
