Day 25

ICM
Generating Pre-Flop ranges.
Open-shove (all-in) and calling ranges are FREE at Holdem Resources.
Ranges involving reraises are available with PAID tools.

Important rules:
shove any non-junk hand for up to 15bb effective in small blind,
shove magic range (pocket pairs, suited A's and suited broadways: TJQKA) if playing shove-fold,
don't forget to use your head though in the process and be aware these are just guidelines, and no need to memorize hands,
better than 2:1 pot odds call in big blind,
shove magic range, when you and your opponent are in late position, to a raise with 25bb or less.

Factors impacting ranges:
ANTE size,
payout structure,
stacks and remaining players,
opponent reads.

BB and Button shove 10bb: 22+, A2+, K4s+, K7o+, Q8s+, Q9o+, J9s+,JTo+.

Day 26

Defending the big blind

Trickiest position, defense range factors:
raise,
position of raise,
state of tournament,
Ante

Post-flop: plan your hand early, missed flop calls for check or fold.

Three-bet shove against single raise when effective stack less than 25bb.

Shove facing multiple raises with 20% of the effective stack in the middle.
Defend wide ranged hand by calling.

Pressure against mid stack,

Attack small blind limps especially when the effective stack 15bb or less.

Day 27

The Art of the Check-Raising

This is another tool, how you can be unpredictable.
On coordinated flops with some kind of draw or strong hands.
When opponent likely to bet.
Tend raising on the late streets.

Day 28

Exploiting Tourney Risk Aversion

State of the tournament:
Early stages of MTT play similar to a cash game.
Start of a 9-man SNG or final 2 tables of a 45-man, ICM isn't heavily impact decision.
Final table or bubble of a 9-man ICM influencing most decisions.

Short stack plays normal game with tighter calling.
Mid stack must play tighter.
Big stack can play looser and pressure opponents.

Adjust shove and fold ranges during the game.

Chip utilities
The more chips you have the more profitable spots you'll have,
and choose chip lead and raise over just checking or calling.

Day 29

Floating - A passive-aggressive play

Floating is calling the flop with a weak hand IN POSITION to bluff the turn if your opponent gives up.
Useful when opponent is on wide range or betting small.
The main plan with a float is to take the hand away before showdown.
Having the potential to improve by the river, it can lead to surprise showdown lol.

Floating is a powerful tool in your flop arsenal that works particularly well in blind-vs-blind spots and when applying tournament pressure.
