Might be interesting, not sure that it's gonna be worth it for people playing freerolls or micro stakes.

IDK no free trial even for a day. And unable to download videos unless you have an iOS device.

I'm sure the content is great but there are other places I'd put my money for training that are not device specific.

I watched the lesson from Daniel Negreanu, it's not bad, but being advertised as a Masterclass I would expect better quality content. In the end it's mostly things we all know, don't think it's worth the money if you already know the basic poker concepts.

HE should have done that years ago, at this moment, I think giving courses affects his image.

I second that. I'm sure it'll be geared towards mid to high stakes players but nonetheless, it'd still be a great learning experience.

i already learned how phil ivey became poker sensation. He once said in an interview that he used to sit on the computer and practice playing poker for 12 to 14 hours a day. I feel thats all yuu need to do is practice alot the more money you lose will make you learn what to do and when to do it real quick.

All about gleaning.
Picking up a thing or two every now an then is great.
A lesson here, an experience there.
I study, but don't spend a lot of time on it.
I know a guy who studied a whole lot and tried to supplement his income playing live poker at the casino. I think he played serious for about 6 years. Unfortunately for him, I beat him in every home game we played.
Looks like my 15+ years was too much.
Over time skill adds up.

I agree, this is the way. I think many people believe that by watching 3 hours of a video tutorial they will become better players. The truth is it can help if you already have the correct mindset and you are putting the work of improving an thinking about your game. If not, it can just confuse you and you will be trying to apply concept that you don't fully understand and under the wrong circumstances. There are no magical solutions even if they come from the best players of the world.

great point you make . Also i dont think that pick a certain way to play and only playing that type of way might net you some money in tye begining but after time people that u have playec against and have taken notes on your style (because there are player using HUDS and other software) will be familiar with that sttle and end up trapping u. I dont know I think with poker there are two or three impotant things that you must learn and thats 1. position-its very important to be agressive on the button and the cutoff. limping in these potions to much is not good. 2. size of your bet- this reffers to the equity you get from your hand. 3. table image- knowing how you are viewed by the other players at the table is when you can really start trapping people. These are what i feel one need to understand to be a good poker player and if you happen to be a lucky player also you could become a very rich man.

his strategy and thought process even may be teachable, to the extent that you can learn and reproduce those essential pieces to his game, but his demeanor is why he's such a game breaker.
Phil Ivey is second to none at controlling his presence and displaying the aura he chooses to display, he is the GOAT, no question.

I'm definitely excited about this course and I look forward to taking it when I have the free time! Ivey is an absolute legend of the game. I hope to learn a few tricks and strategies that I can employ into my own game! :D:D

The course is definitely more suited to people playing 1/2NL live and higher.

I wouldn't say that a ton of the info in the course translates to online play.

The question is why you think you can't commit to learning? There's some program in your head which is self-sabotaging you from becoming a better player. And if you examine it you may be able to eliminate it and replace it with a more helpful program.

The masterclass is only 3.5-4 hours so time wise it's a very low commitment. Everyone's got a few extra hours in their week... right?
