More to Add on this Very Good Thread

Once again, Ashley Adams shares his thoughts to help us learn from our mistakes and better yet to improve our game.

1 Hand, 5 Mistakes: How to Avoid Painful Missteps and Compounding Errors

Great Thread Shells and really enjoyed your link and for opening up a really good thread - especially so for new starters to the game and also experienced old hands like me.
I wanted to also add some further information to this from a site i use as i am into the psychology of poker and so, here is some additional information from Tom Leonard to that end.

To avoid similar mistakes, you need to write them down and attach them next to you.

Nice article; thanks for writing it Ashley Adams and thanks Shells for posting it here :)

p.s. How can there be a rake in a homegame though? At least in the USA, I'm pretty sure a rake is illegal for homegames - one would require a gambling License to run a game with rake like a casino would. The current laws on poker "homegames" detail that money can only be exchanged to a person based on their actions as a "player."
