I also started with freerolls and put together a good bankroll, but the bankroll game almost left me without money, but I started playing bankroll from the lowest limits, and gradually the bankroll began to grow steadily, but I'm still on the road))

The first time was when I was 15/16 and lost $40 on a tilt night. The other times were when I tried to increase my bankroll without depositing but I couldn't and I lost what little I earned by returning to >0<

But now things are flowing well and I am already $4.70 in my account, without depositing anything!

On another competing poker forum which I won't name but has numbers in its name there is a thread called Most Degenerate things you have done and it is countless stories of people busting bankroll in games that are unwinable casino games.

I've not lost my bankroll, as I'm only playing freerolls and tickets won with freerolls.
Needless to say that my bankroll is very small, to small to require any management other than: do not pay to play ANY game.

I don't remember but I has been a several of time when I lost all of my backroll. That is why I started tracking my progress. I hope to be more careful with my money this time.

How many times have you lost your bankroll and how much did you lose?

If you don't completely lose my bankroll anymore, consider a time where you significantly lose a good portion of your bankroll the same as losing your bankroll entirely (enough that you significantly re-evaluate your bankroll and reduce your buy-ins accordingly).

The add-on question is: what type of games do you play after you have had a cool-off and come back to it?

I lost of my bankroll many times due to continous bad beats in cash games.

I have lost my bankroll countless times over the years. It's a rite of passage in poker.

The sooner you assess and address the leaks in your game, the sooner you will have improved results at the tables.

I've always had a job to supplement my bankroll so i wouldnt say I ever lost my bank roll. I will mention though a couple times I made some good money ~10k and withdrew the money from online and wasn't able to build it back up so easy the next time around. I would suggest keep the money in your account unless you really need it for something. just don't pull it out for vacations or big purchases. :)

There always comes a time when you lose all the banking but after you've been playing for some time, I limit my limit to one third of my bank and the times I lost everything I started again with sit and go of 0.2 and 0.10 $ sometimes I was about to go broke a stroke of luck and won a tournament and doubled my bank just after that lost everything to play spin go haha good luck greetings:heeeellll

I have busted my bankroll just once and it stung quite a bit because I built it from 0. I did get a cashout of about $500 but had run it back up to around $200 when I just went on monkey tilt one night and spewed it all in tournies/cash games out of my bankroll. This was back around 2010ish before Black Friday.

I have definitely learned my lesson and am currently building a bankroll again on ACR. If I get tilted or not playing well I got to video games. Seems to help taking breaks from the game to avoid getting burnt out.

I put 100$ in one site.
Ran it up to 1800 in about 100 days. Then it went slowly. About 6 months to run it down to under 100. Another month to around 50 I thought "who cares" and had moved to another site.
Anyways I bet it all and lost at no limit.
So......I lost 100$
And played...a lot....all levels from .05 to 15.00/30..00
Lots of 60.00 max 30.00 max down the line. Almost a year.
That's one bankroll I lost.

Lost 25$

I lost my bankrol of 25$ , I begun poker 1 y ago and intended to play for fun. Tough I tryed to play profitable. Most of the time scrap play , low buy inn (0,80-2$).
Did a lot of tournements. As they say you have to play 100.000 hands to have a bit of expirience. After all I played about a year with my first micro bankrol.
I added 25$ again and try to improve before i ad more money.
Don't start running if you can't even walk.:icon_tong

I lost my money several times, but most of it was with freeroll money, so not bad.
But I also lost a few dollars depositing, not much.
At least I learned something from those losses.

Haha well as many times as I've built it lol

Seriously though its a continuous movement, build lose build lose.

I suppose Until you manage to budget your build and spends...

Stop when the fun stops or when the IRS audit your bankroll:D:eek::eek:

I have lost my bankroll so many times, almost everytime i loaded.I have had good times to win so much but lost them back on my bad times.i always play no limit holdem and always try to play at the same buy-ins but i play tournaments a lot. But i will never give up and keep playing no matter how many more time i lose my bankroll.
