Strategy
This is a very good question. First, don't think of yourself as a fish. It's all about strategy. Position-raise or fold (no call), aggressive action from the right position (Mostly CO or btn) and bet only when folded to while in late position with a raise to the blinds. When folded to in late position, raise with cards with less than or equal to 40% or less domination% (wizard of
odds). A quick lookup table in Excel that allows you to enter your hole card hand (using "s" for suited and "o" for unsuited) and it gives you back quickly this % of your specific hole cards will help. Also, unless you have the top 10% rank or you are extremely short-stacked, never call an all-in. It is a huge temptation when you have cards adding to 20 or more and you have the option of calling. Save it for the next hand, unless you are less than 10X BB, it's a good thing not to be tempted.
As far as books, Silberstang wrote a book playing poker for the serious player. He broke down hole cards into categories and went on to say when to bet those cats. Hellmuth is a great read for aggressive strategy. The old Full Tilt Gang put together a huge volume on many strategies and data percentages in a book called
full tilt poker Guide. If you play on
intertops, they have data tables for each user to utilize that shows in colors what
hands you played (totals) and how many you won. That's your real data, the hands you are good at and the ones you are not.
Now that's some loaded strategy info for you. I hope it helps. I utilize all the above at one time for each specific hole card set using Excel and it has improved my game drastically. I hope this helps.

How to stop being fish?
I've been playing poker for about ten years, only on play money. Not long ago I decided to try for money, every day I made a Deposit, but I could not win anything. Although I considered myself a Pro, it turns out I do not know how to play. I play as a fish, but how to get rid of old habits now??
