Any top pair is a passion and a way to double or triple. I always bet everything and usually win in 80 cases out of 100 and I wish you that !!!

You described situaciu in a vacuum, very little information there are no statistics on players, what stage of the tournament? You make the call, but if there were more information can be found and fold.

At 2NL, 5NL reg tables these shoves are very wide from middle pairs to broadways to Ax, so calling with KK is no brainer. And even against AA you have 18% ;)

Snap call with a big smile .. if he has two aces it does not matter !! Two aces and two kings are always CALL, QQ is for deep thinking.

I find it very hard to fold my kings in this spot unless the player pushing all in plays a super tight tag style normally. Even at that the tag player might have a good read on the first raiser and be pushing him with pk 10s or above or AK

it depends on the situation, is it a tournament or cashgame etc. I handle that diffrently. how is the structure of the game, have u had time to study your opponent? are there more player joining in or is it just you. Mostly i would say that i would go for it, but in rare cases i would fold. What was your feeling that time.

Fold KK? In a CASH game? Preflop?

There is an old guy who plays at my not-so-local casino card room. I know, from playing with him a few times, that he ONLY plays AA, KK, QQ, AK.

Other than THAT guy, why would you ever fold KK pre-flop in a cash game? The scenario the OP outlined is what you are playing for: only ONE (1) possible hand has you beat.

Heck, I'd be glad if 2-3 more went all in ahead of me.

If you won't play kings against an all in, then you're playing 'scared' and the table knows it.

Your call is a long-term +EV, so like the pizza guy says, " DOOOOOO IT!"

(my gf says it a lot too)

Not knowing how this player plays I would call in 80% of this situation.

sooooo..... if you are folding here you will be folding 99.5% of your range? with 100bb I cant think of a player type I would fold this to, maybe a VPIP/PFR of 2/1 and with a huge sample size, other then that its a snap call.

Generally speaking, calling a 100bb 3bet shove on an UTG open raise, with KK is probably a losing deal in the long term.

If find your opponents overvaluing AJs+ 10+ then you could consider calling.
Not alot of good opponents will 3bet shove for 100bb with hands worse than KK.

Not alot of good opponents will 3Bet shove for 100bb with hands wors than KK, but not alot of good players (if any) will 3Bet shove 100bb
