This is a discussion on Cardschat "Holecards Revealed II" Tourney Videos within the online poker forums, in the Learning Poker section; The vids for the first one are
This is the second one, now complete on Megaupload and Gvid zomg~
[broken linkage, all removed ~tb]
Ok how do I get these videos? Do I have to download this megaup load?
Megaupload is free, you just enter the letters in the upper right in the box and then download......but if you can spend $10 and get a month premium membership you can download all 5 parts at once with no waiting for a download ticket.........that's what I did, and now all 5 pts. are coming at the same time......
Or if you really must use WMP, download the http://www.xvidmovies.com/codec/ (I had to compress the files as they were over 400MB each uncompressed ). I think the error is misleading in that it can occur for a whole host of reasons other than the file being a multipart one (they aren't multiple parts of one file in any case - each plays independently).
tried to download VLC......kept getting errors when it was installing......
tried the xvid codec too, still didnt work.......will try the codec thing again....
ok just installed the codec thing o.k., i mean its on my computer........does it automatically work with mediaplayer now, do i have to restart my computer? The files still dont play......
they show the wmp symbol and say avi. file.......how do i extract them, if i need to?
should i try redownloading the files from megaupload?
I don't get why you're redownloading it just because you tried to open it with WMP, Chuck...
Maybe Chuck tried opening instead of saving the file to disk. In which case, if you downloaded the whole thing, it may still exist as a temp file somewhere on your hard drive Chuck. Search for new big files.
So far i have viewed the first 4 and just started on the 5th.
Im embarrassed by some of the things i attempted or did. lol.
I don't recall half of the crap i did and i know why now.
After i finish watching, i will start all over and take a few more notes.
Never realized i limped so darn much.
Thanks MM and Chris so very much for all the work you put into these.

OMG this makes me want to go on a LAG rampage.
Chris, you are so ABC/weak tight. But, clearly a winning player.
You are perfectly set up to exploit the errors of your opponents (ala Sklansky we make our money when opponents make mistakes; mistakes as defined by Sklansky's TOP: any decision you make contrary to what you would do if you could see your opponent's hole cards).
Why not try do induce some "mistakes" from your opponents by playing your position a bit more than your cards? I know the one time you "steped out" in this tourney your opponent caught top pair (87s vs KTo), but still...
I think Chris makes more moves than the video(s) would give him credit for. Take a peek at his 8-tabling vid and you'll see a few wild shoves here and there. Though I do agree; he's a mouse
i dont really think so - there are spots where i pretty much have to shove any two when folded to me with ~5BBs, and of course I oblige, but I don't think there were any shoves that were very out of line.
alien, for now the point of the vids is to preach solid poker, which may change in the future, but it would be somewhat strange if I was preaching solid poker while making LAGtardy moves.
Excellent job at the commentary Chris! You are very good a predicting what is going to happen. I'm glad to here you agreed with my folding 88 to Anno's A/10 shove. That was a tricky decision for me. Seems I overbet a lot also.....can't figure that part out. I'm sure you will have more to say in parts 4 and 5....... can't wait to see them!
