It depends if you are serious or recreational . If I am not mistaken , if you are pro or reg you need to have 40-50 buy ins , if you are a recreational or fin player 20 buyins would not hurt you .

How much do I need to have a bankroll available for the sit'n go of 2.50?
To sit and go, you need a bankroll of 50-80 buyins, the higher the limit, it is worth increasing the number of buyins by 10-15 percent.

If you don't know how big a bankroll you need then you can't afford it.

Of course, it depends on the risk tolerance.
I think cash game 50-100, mtt 100-150-200.

If you win these level of buy in, 200 dollars it's very ok. Sit and go don't have a big variance if you is a winning player at the limit

If it is turbo, the variance is higher and you need more bankroll.
I would say 150-200 buy ins for such 180mans.

How much do I need to have a bankroll available for the sit'n go of 2.50?
When I have a bank I lose it because I want to try to win more expensive tournaments and that is a big mistake for a player

If you ask such a question, then it is better not to play $2.5, play cheaper, for example, $0.25 less money as a gift. Standard bankroll 100BB, start small.

why such a limit of 2.5, if you can play for 0.25 or 0.5 and do not ask such stupid questions. Hence the conclusion that at 2.5 limits it is too early for you to play, no matter what kind of bankroll you have, do not be lazy to read the literature or watch a video about poker, then you can save.

any player who has a little understanding of poker knows the truth about 100 bb, and the more BB the better

You need to have a bankroll that would be enough for 150 buy-ins

How much do I need to have a bankroll available for the sit'n go of 2.50?
My rule , at least If Im consequent , I use 5% of my bankroll so for 2,50 tourneys so I'd need 250$ bankroll.
Although it works mostly fine If it's 10%

Lately I lost my bankroll due to inconcentration and wrong mood for playing after I qualified for 55$ direct buy in tourney to the 530$ Bounty builder but became bubble boy...top 2 got the tickets 🙄🙄🙄🙄 so it's only freerolls for me right now.

It depends on your ROI, if you have a good ROI it's advisable to have 100 buy in.

Good luck !

Why do you think this is?

Is the fear of these being too filled with Bots part of it?

I pretty much avoid all SNGs nowadays, but figured I'd ask (because I'm curious). :)
Most likely its just the on demand format, which does not appeal to the majority of players on pokerstars. The on demand games for $2 and $5 only require 9 players to start, but even so the $10 18-man pretty much run 24 hours a day, while the $5 on demand games only run during peak hours.

To avoid damaging your bankroll, you should ideally have at least $250,00 in your account.
