try to stay with more recent books as the game has changed a lot in the last few years as more and more players take up the game . I'm looking for a few newer books as well as to upgrade my game

...the information in older books would work against them, because they don't know it. Don't be so dismissive.

I propose to read Harington o Holdeme and Gus Hansen Every Hand Revealed

...is the one he wrote while playing in a tournament. The agreement with the publisher (made before tournament) was that he would record (in a small tape player) his thoughts on EVERY hand he played. He ended up winning the tournament. I own that book. It is very insightful.

YES..... Power Holdem Strategy by Daniel negraneau (aka kid poker). Great book to help improve your game, also useful for online and live poker. Great book overall so give it a try

...and I highly recommend it. Daniel has been at or near the top for a long time, while others came and went quickly.

I got the most out of Harrington's books. I'm reading Daniel's book now and have to admit it has some good insight. There is some fluff in the book though.

I just downloaded this so thanks for the recommendation.

Books that specifically focus on micro-stakes online no limit are definitely the most useful for me like.

What to read poker players in 2017

I suggest to read this book.

You want to know what distinguishes microclimatical from the high stakes players? You want to finally understand what you need in order to become a successful poker player? Joey Ingram in his book will lay it out for you.

And what information You have about the new books?

My personal favorites were the Harrington series. These basically wrote the book for all books out there now. If you want to get basic and advanced concepts in the newer books that are out there now, I'd recommend reading these first.

Anyone know some non common poker books that are a good read? I've read most of the common ones a few times.
