I so <3 this chili pepper costume bet.
Google says it's a 12 hour, 18 minute drive. Not quite worth driving to see.
Don't worry if I win I'm taking+posting pictures and I'm sure he'll do the same if he wins lol.

Alright 501 hands in, I'm +4.70 he's -75.85, so I'm less than a buy-in up, also running about a buy-in above ev basically overpair holds against an over, FD, and gutter on the flop I was like 60-40 dog and stacks were a bit deep. Anyway since neither of us feels like paying an extra $500/piece rake just for 10k hands of 100nl any ideas on how to minimize rake?
Been a really good match so far imo, decided we're not gonna release videos until end just because of the fact that we'd rather not show how we're playing before end of the bet.
This was probably most interesting hand so far:
Poker Stars, $0.50/$1 NL Hold'em Cash Game, 2 Players
zachvac: $110.50 (110.5 bb)
111000: $183.65 (183.7 bb)
Pre-Flop: zachvac is SB with K5
zachvac raises to $3, 111000 raises to $7, zachvac calls $4
Flop: ($14) 9Q3(2 players)
111000 checks, zachvac checks
Turn: ($14) T(2 players)
111000 bets $8, zachvac calls $8
River: ($30) 8(2 players)
111000 bets $25, zachvac calls $25
Results: $80 pot ($0.50 rake)
111000 showed AA(a pair of Aces) and won $79.50 ($39.50 net)
zachvac mucked K5(high card King) and lost (-$40 net)
Rake is always going to be high until you get to midstakes. HU is profitable coz the edges tend to be high, so there is no real way that both of you can emerge from 10k hands in good shape. Odds are that one person will win alot the other will lose alot, or one will win a little and the other will still lose quite alot.
Well I think we're gonna try to use play money tables. There's a converter on 2p2 to convert it to real money so HEM will import it so I'm gonna try to get it working for live conversion so we can get live imports and track it and just send money equal to chips after each session. Like I knew rake was high, but it's gonna be over 1k for this one match. I'm not really worried about him not paying and I don't think he is so we can just do that I think. idk kinda lame to be doing a challenge on play money tables but better than spending the extra $500+ each.
Ya since you guys are friends just use play money tables and you could add a $1k prop bet or something to the suit for the winner so you aren't totally wasting your time. I don't have many nl100 HU hands in my database atm, but i think $500 would be pretty close to what it would cost each of you for 10k hands - so if you both pool your "saved rake" and give it to the winner seems like a decent compromise.

Zach did you think you had the straight?
Wow, and I was under the impression that you neither drank nor did drugs. Apparently you do both...simultaneously...and heavily.Actually considered value raising but thought maybe he had AK for the nuts and doesn't call a raise with worse not realizing both Kx and AK are just high-cards. I recorded it too I'm gonna look like an idiot lol.
I guess that is one problem with play money, in that it will be harder to take seriously and you'll have super aggro high variance games.
