Your Top 3 Fav Poker Games (besides Holdem)

I recently played in a friendly home game and asked everyone, if they are up for a different kind of game e.g. Stud or 2-7 Lowball or something besides NL Holdem. Unfortunately we ended up with NL Holdem. Again.

But that made me think, what is probably the most fav. game in this community?

As the poll only allows 10 choices, I had to reduce/combine some games. So I couldn't made differences between Limits or Single-Triple draw games.

So what's your favorite game and why? Did I miss something? Is there a game which you can not stand at all?

I do the start.

1) 2-7 Lowball. I prefer the triple draw.
2) 8 Game. A perfect Mix of everything.
3) Stud Hi-Lo.

I like to play all the games. But my favorite ones are Razz, 2-7 (NL and TD) and every form of mixed games (8-,9- and 10-game): And I also like PLO and Badugi.

I’m becoming a big fan of PLO these days, especially 6-max cash games. Part of the reason is that it’s pot limit. You get to see more flops without having to contend with pre-flop shoves (although that can still happen with multiple re-raises). That means you get to play more post-flop hands which is where the real fun happens.

I don’t like the NL variants of the game at all.

I'm also a fan of Omaha, pot limit and no limit. Most of all, I love five-card Omaha, and sometimes I play hi-lo Omaha for fun.

In addition to Hold'em, I really like to play Razz, Badugi and 8 games. Especially — 8 games. The advantages are:
- “brainstorming” (quick switch to another type of game);
- the possibility of winning from other players who are poorly oriented in the strategy of the game.
But there is a nuance - you can lose very quickly, thinking that you have a stronger hand.

I like Razz , good game to have fun , easy to learn , of course you have to learn strategies , the same as in every other game , butI like that it is simple game . Besides razz I also like 5 card draw and 2-7 lawball , but I am not so fan of them ,mostly I like Razz . I want to find a cheap tourney with razz game , that I would play

In the good old days I loved to play 2-7 lowball triple draw and Stud. But today those games are almost completely gone.
