Sorry, I don't grind out STTs or MTTs. I just thought a 15% ROI was not good. I mean cash in 15 out of 100, doesn't seem logical, doesn't seem profitable. After looking back on post from yesterday I see I was in the wrong and please accept my apology KK.

Thanks for pointing out the differences PO.

:)

ROI <> ITM

Cashing in 15% of the STTs you play is certainly very bad. Regardless of whether or not this includes all 1st place finishes, this translates to a -ROI.

15% in MTTs is not that good in the micros. However, 15% in STTs over a large sample size is very good, even at the micros.

No worries, bro, you seem to be one of the more open minded people around here. Anyways, the ROI stands for return on investment, which basically is your net profit. (On average).

So to maintain a 15% ROI you would actually have to cash much more than 15%...depending on how many you win, come in 2nd, etc, you probably need to cash in closer to 50% of STT.

Some how I was mixing a bunch of things up in my head.

So

(#ofSnGs x Stake) +/- Profit&Loss =
Total Investment & Profit/Loss divided by #ofSnGs = Avg Profit
Avg Profit x ..............

Nevermind I'm getting way ahead of myself...

Back on topic

The OP is trying to figure out if Collusion took place. I have seen this kind of chat before and never thought of it as collusion. It vry well could be though and I am sure FTP will look through their game history and see if they are known to always play together.

If they were then I hope they get banned for life.

Were they chummy before it got to the final three?

Doesnt look like collusion to me. If i have a large stack and there is a medium stack and a really short stack, I am going to be pushing on the medium stack as well. The longer the short stack stays around the more chips I can get from the medium stack.

It's not just you, almost certainly over 90% of poker players think they are better than they actually are.

This is so hard for me emotionally to see these 90%ers. They make me sad. I am so glad I am part of the 10%.

I colluded with some members on this site so that we could prove there was actually no colluding going on in this hand. I conclude that our colluding to prove a lack of collusion has allowed OP to come to the conclusion that there was in fact no colluding involved in and he simply jumped to conclusions.

Asploded.

Wow! This made 4 pages! What the hell are the mods doing? Is the key to the thread lock broken.

Kasanova, these guys are right. Maybe they were colluding, but your "evidence" doesn't prove it. All it proves is the short stack was happy that the big stack was playing you like a fiddle. I'd probably say the same thing in his situation. But whatever.

100% AGREE. As the medium stack youre forced to play only big hands or wait till the small stack gets blinded out.

i think thats a good strategy though, because if you have a chance to knock out the 2nd place player over the 3rd place shortstack you basically have it won. because when its heads up the shortstack will play anything and lose because hes happy he placed. just my opinion
