I agree with the game 'fairness' comments. I do have to admit that I'd love either one to play vs. some people who have some severe Karma coming their way! I know that number 2 seems more admirable at first but if we're really going to think about this. "Shouldn't we be able to narrow the range and still understand how strong we will become by knowing what falls" Most hands are big at the end because somebody is or did catch up and got ahead! No more worries about the river, keeping Q3o because we know the 3 is pairing the board on the turn... I think to think it again might be worth a thought. Opening ranges and how a person bets should tell us something about our opponents hand anyway. Just for kicks! Thanks for the post, I'm sure you have 4 people at a Starbucks contemplating this very thing now! Hopelessly trying to justify wearing black in the Spring. I'll even bet they are not even drinking coffee with cream that isn't diary trying to figure this one out!
