Win at poker but lose at other forms of gambling.

From time to time, I also have this problem.
I think this is a discipline problem. You just have to decide for yourself and no longer play on slot machines.

Because playing poker is not gambling, but blackjack and roulette are faster money equals faster loss and greater addiction!

I find myself losing in other forms of gambling after a win. I don't like how the poker sites have casinos in them. Staring you down in the face. Lol.

I wish I could create a poker site where it is just poker. Kind of like Coinpoker. I am starting to like that site because there is no casino on it.

I am an action type of person so I agree these other forms of gambling are cramping the poker ventures.

Funny, it's been the opposite for me. I don't gamble outside of poker much, but the wife and I are up 2-3 grand from black jack and slots from the few times we have played them. I then take the winnings and donate them to you all on ACR and ignition. You're welcome.

Personally, I have never been tempted by the casino games. However, I have been tempted thru the years, with ring games. My bread and butter is the tourney. I have blown many rolls taking a bigger tourney win to the ring tables. I finally learned how to deal with it, but regret watching many br's flushed down the drain.

That was a conscious decision on my part to NOT let that happen anymore.

I have won some large amounts at slots and lost the same. The same holds true for blackjack but I much prefer the live version. I've played some sports bets which is something I've never done before and have received some nice surprises in my bankroll. In the recent past, after playing and losing at poker I would play the casino for some actual lottery action. Now I'm diverting this money to learn some of the less popular poker games where if I lose I can rationalize it as a form of tuition.

Honestly no I happen to not play any other gambling thing just because most other ones you can't get into +EV situations so I don't do them. I play poker because it's hard and I can't to see if I'm capable of winning in the long run. I'm thankfully not interested in the short term excitement cuz that's what will sink you
